still downloading since patch went live and its 4am here :(

Why do ppl still have such low DL rates ?
I loaded the game in 15 minutes.. :D

Thanks for this patch Chris and GGG...and just so you have some more content for the complaint letter you are undoubtedly composing to your server host(s):

My ping: 14 ms
My DL speed (on a speed test while DLing the patch): 46 mbps

Currently over nine hours into the DL and just passed 77 percent.

Not a good performance from the patch host IMO. Not a QQ by any means; just relaying some data so you can use it when you have a Meaningful Chat with your server host.

Thank you again and keep up the great work.

Edit: Read some good things about the Torrent option; not willing to roll the dice I'm afraid.

Tried this. Worked fine, for a very short period of time, and then dropped down to 3 kb/s and stayed there. Was going to take 1 week to finish. Am currently trying the other download (from edit2) but am not holding out any hope.

Had the same problem. Try close the launcher, deactivate your firewall and re-launch the PoE launcher... Should work. gl ;)

Slow download for me at 6pm Central Australia Time, 21st August.

Resorted to using the Torrent - looks like there are 93 seeds and over 140 peers. Speed is not an issue there :)

I spoke too soon apparently, currently stuck endlessly downloading some 8.19mb file from the patch client..

At 2kbps..

I got a good night's sleep, started downloading 10 minutes ago...finished already!
