Dude.... seriously?

Ok look... heres the thing.... the pc im using is my back up, i put all my ram and the card in it when my GOOD and NEWER pc took a crap and did the blue screen of death error message? anyways i tried to diagnose that prob with internet help and all i had seen was " you need the windows xp media edition software and re install your OS" after that everyone who had that problem got there's working again but i never could find that OS cd for the better pc " that i had just bought a week before the blue screen message, yeah... suckage =/ anyways so it seems i literally may have a chance with this if i can just get my other pc past the blue screen death i mean thats all thats wrong with it was like new refurbished before that..... maybe a pc god is out there?

Lol never said you were retarded, just pointing out some facts.
I can understand that it caught you off guard, a lot of people see the game and think D2 and think that it's just a bit better graphically.

The optimization i was talking about for the 0.11.4 was sitting at 20%+ reduction in the games file size and almost all of that was from the art assets...that's 1.3 gigs(ish) of space that won't be taken up, after this mornings update the 20% reduction went to around 40%(2.6ish gig) reduction and for only 2 guy working on it now that's pretty hefty, the main problem the game has atm seems to be the loading of textures(fps spikes) and storing of tile sets for the generated maps(out of memory errors)

Since those files are now taking up less space it should help a lot of the problems, in your case you may still need to run the game on minimum settings with a command line just depends on how much of an impact the optimization has

Sorry, I can't help you more, but perhaps instead of antivirus it would help to try to install andvarius.

Unfortunately, the 20% optimization patch will probably not do much on your computer. There is no way the game is playable with a 5 year old 1.8ghz processor and with a very (very) low end graphics cards unless they put a lot more optimization to the game.

Well I totally understand all that and i apreciate all the help as well!, so it comes down to if someone maybe possibly could help me out with my BETTER pc that has BSOD? i mean like i was saying i know that pc will run it if this one im using right now wont, Anyways im probably asking the wrong Q in the wrong place but maybe someone.... something out there.... can help me quick fix my BSOD pc?, before that even happened it ran 10x better then this PC giving me the notion that ill have a chance to play this even with this Graph card im using, any help on that or am i on a sinking ship?

First off, I know you just lost your job, so are likely out of money, but if you can spare about $75-100 or so you can go buy a new windows disc (depending on which windows version it is,) and reformat the better computer and it will be completely ready to go.

Otherwise, tell us how it BSOD's, when, why, how frequently, and what the message says and we can try to diagnose it.

This last option is a bit more painful for us, but less painful on your wallet.

Hey all remember me? probably not but anyways i got that computer up and running, the one i was telling everyone about that was better then the junker i was trying to get you guys to help me with, sorry that i just up and left but as some of you know i am jobless haha so i had to take care of some things. ill post the specs of this pc after this post but hey guys guess what...... another problem..... so now when i download and install the game D3D errors pop up and i HAVE pixel shader 3.0 anyways hopefully you guys can help me out further thanks!
