" Although my upper brain says there are ton of free porn web sites, my lower brain and my right hand agree with this. -1+2 from me I'm a forum warrior, i was born to post, raised to defend my league. Now my post has been removed, chained and exiled by mods who Ban. Ban is my brother; i do not fear it. I see it in the eyes of men and beasts that i troll. It will take me to play the actual game when i am ready and i am not ready.

My idea would be for an "ethereal" (purple) item type that allows you to double the value of the suffix/prefixes it receives but it only lasts a short amount of time before it is wiped back to it's original stat-less state. Therefore you would constantly have to sink currency into the item to be able to use it, but you have an incentive to constantly roll currency into it because it can potentially be so overpowered. In RNGesus we trust.

It takes thousands of orbs to make a perfect item (that's not even including sockets/links/colors) so I think we have a pretty good sink already.
Got all the perfect gear? well then maps it is. That's really ingenious having a consumable item that can take sooo much crafting currency out of circulation, all for 5 minutes of fun. |

a map that would cost, 10-30 ex, that map gives 250% exp boost, the map would be lvl 72.

exalting a 6 affix item gives a 10-20% chance to add one additional affix.

" 1) Some higher level unique maps. Imagine if Acton's Nightmare (Large maze, 2 unique bosses, large chest) was on a level 76 crematorium map. Because the mods are so favorable it would be better then most 77 maps unless you rolled them perfectly. Even Acton's as it currently is (lvl 69) has been a currency sink for me. Personally, I bought 10 Acton's when I was level 84 for 2 gcp each (and considering the amount of 70+ maps I found inside and the massive amount of loot and huge map since large maze means it paid for itself, plus it was great experience). I think it would be even better if we had to find (or trade for) 4 pieces of the map which would drop only from 4 map bosses (lets say piety, vaal, merveil, and oak). This could/should be done in a similar fashion to the keys from d2 and uber bosses. Each boss drops a unique map which we have to enter to get an organ, and then by putting all 4 organs in the map device we unlock a map with all 4 bosses. 2) They could also add a map vendor who sold maps of all quality still unid [except unique](rare, magic, white) and of random levels for an expensive price tag, similar to gambling from gheed in diablo 2. 3) Vendor recipes for dyes to apply to gear (make them expensive but when you purchase it it has say 20 consumable uses. 4) After dying (particularly in solo play, or when your group wipes) have a consumable for sale in each act which brings you back to where you died so you(/your group) does not have to run back. 5) After dying in hardcore a window shows up with 2 options: option 1: your character goes to softcore/default league and takes all his gear with him (this one would be a free option). option 2: your character stays in hardcore and you resurrect in town, but you lose all of your items permanently.(gear sink) 6) Mercenary's just like in diablo 2 except they are paid for with orbs instead of gold. 7) Add in some assured recipes for those who wish to not deal with RNG. examples: glove or helm or boots + 40 fusing = 4L's the item, chest + 6 exalt = 6L's the item. 8) Add an extremely rare orb (perhaps you can buy it from a vendor for 4 eternals also) which you can apply to an item to guarantee that the next orb used will be beneficial (ex: if a fusing is used on a 3L it will get at least 4 Links, if a divine is used it will roll each stat equal or better then it is, (same for blessed), if a chromatic is used you will select a single socket which will change color to one of of the other two colors it is not. 9) Add a vendor with specific orbs which cost 1 ex+ but always add the mod you choose (ex: orb of haste: adds run speed if applied to boots or cast speed if applied to jewelry, orb of vitality: always adds some value in the highest range possible for life on that item slot. Orb of labrynth: adds the maze mod to a map. 10) Add a new (rare) orb which you first use on an item that you really like the appearance of, then you can apply it to another item of the same class to modify the appearance of the item so it looks like the first item (and the first item is consumed by the process) 11) Make an ethereal orb: makes the item 50% more powerful on all modifiers but it now has 50 durability and loses 1 durability each time you die with it equipped. 12) Bring challenges to SC/HC and make it so (ex: for the unique challenge you must have all the uniques) so that you must have all he uniques at the same time. 13) Add a pet acquiring orb that you can use on a monster to get a miniature version as a pet. 14) A new orb which removes 1 prefix or suffix randomly. 15) Add a 2nd deal of the day where each day a different (single, 1) cosmetic affect is available for purchase in game with in game currency. 16) create an orb which grants our character an additional slot for keybinding a skill. 17) add a chromatic orb of strength , chromatic of dex, and chromatic of int. Each is only available by trading the vendor 100 chromatics for it. Each turn a single socket to the color designated by the orb used (int -> blue (etc)) 18) create a world event(s) like d-clone which are triggered by selling alchemy orbs to the vendor. |
