Create The Ultimate Currency Sink

The ultimate currency sink would be, if currency decays after 30 days.
The ultimate currency sink that is innovative?

... Use currency to purchase microtransaction items in-game for your character.

PoE already has brilliant currency sinks.

While I do like waffles and pancakes I would kindly request you don't derail my thread. :D

And yes, I do agree that PoE has great currency sinks already. In fact, they are all adequate. Hence, why this is a just for fun what can you think of thread.
To encourage more crafting:

Craft only affixes

They would need to be such that it does not make drop items less desirable, but incentive enough to try and get them.

Example:
Percentage life regen
ES recovery delay
Dodge chance
Elemental % reflect
Tin foil hats are a lie propagated by the aluminium industry.
You want a great currency sink? Just give me the currency and ask me to do something.

300/0/0 on 5(or 6)links out of multiple 5 and 6 socketed items.

One average roll out of ~400 alch/chaos

~200 chromes to get one off color in a unique that I ended up giving to a friend because the downgrade from 5 to 4 links even with the unique was a major dps nerf.

Yeah, I think you can sink a lot of currency with me and get nothing in return :p

You might change your character, you might become one of the undying, you might be like Lady Dialla, you might lose a QWERT skill slot.... or nothing happens... RNG
You can already burn through a vast amount of currency in trying to craft the perfect rare. I suppose the market will eventually be flooded with great rares, but this will take a long time to happen. GGG can always mix things up by slowly adding new base items and mods, so that your 'best possible' item doesn't stay that way forever.

A decent (non-Quality) gem sink would be nice though.
