Tired of farming wisdom scrolls?

I just want to have my cookie and eat it too, if that's alright with you gentlemen. :)
It's a hack'n'slash game and I don't want to make any complicated economic decisions. It's like having to decide if you want to trade nickels or dimes for pennies because the parking meter only takes pennies... but nickels are better as an improvised screwdriver and dimes are better at holding your refrigerator in an upright position...It's ridiculous and I'd love to avoid it. Wisdom scrolls are most basic currency and I shouldn't have to think about them, manage them or bother to save them for greater things.. that's all expected for higher currencies, i find it annoying when it comes to scrolls. |

I think its good as it is because more dropchance wood change the marketbalance. Orb of Alchemy and Orb of Alteration would get very cheap with more wisdom scrolls. And yea i havent much to..only 18 Scrolls on Lvl 52 but thats the spirit. ;)

" But wisdom scroll drop rate has nothing to do with alts and alchs... their availability depends on blue item drop rate. My problem is that wisdom scrolls aren't "hard to get", which would make them valuable and encourage me to save them for items I really want to identify (something that I've experienced in the Descent Races and was very fun). They are just "a-pain-in-the-ass-to-get" and bothering to farm the is interrupting my killing. |

If you're farming wisdom scrolls and it's interrupting your killing, you're doing it wrong?
I feel the drop rate of scrolls is at a good place right now. I don't want an item taking up inventory space to ID things the way you suggest with chances, we have wisdom scrolls which do exactly what we need effectively. Nor do I want some magic genie object in town identifying things for me. -1 stop over moderating that makes the official forums useless

i have farm today on lunaris temple and have now over 40 wisdom scrolls (+ identify all dropped rares) + i have over 40 orb of transmutation (every is 4 Wisdoms on the stor). i think you must farm at the right places and use item quantity items or the gem ;)

" I never said I can't farm them, I'd just rather i didn't have too. It' fine in the early game, but it slowly gets old. Dragging whites into town is boring, and bothering to figure out what currency to trade for them is annoying. It's like having to manage your penny stock or gold in Diablo. It doesn't mean I can't live with the current state, but i stick by my idea. :) |

How the fuck do you run out of wisdom scrolls :O Start breaking those barrels and rolling those stones guys, alot of currency hides there. Time to open your eyes! Every group running docks to farm leaves at least 10 of them behind, every time, because people have enough, more then enough.

:) I assure you I'm breaking everything in my path... and around it for that matter. It sort of comes naturally to me to clear an area before moving on.
Part of the problem is due to IIR. I find a lot of magics and rares. (and I do want to identify all of them) |

" I always had an abundance of scrolls until I started working on my IIR and IIQ. Once you get half decent mf gear scrolls start to dry up pretty quickly and that with only id on rares. When I run out I just sell some stacks of sharpening stones alterations and that does the trick. |
