Skip "Tutorial" when playing Hardcore

One of the annoying things of Hardcore is the need to start over if your character ends up getting killed, as is part of the game, but it would be much nicer to be able to skip the first stage whenever this happens. Assume the character has automatically completed the "tutorial" stage (if he chooses so on character creation) and spawn him in town first, with all the basic equipment randomly added to him.

Takes around 70 seconds to get to town...
It's not even a tutorial stage. There is no tutorial other than "Hold alt to display items on the ground." It's the beginning of the game.

The problem here seems to be that you insist on playing on Hardcore even though you apparently aren't very good at staying alive. Solution: Don't play Hardcore, at least not until you've gotten a better handle on things. There is no benefit to playing Hardcore other than bragging rights and maybe the chat and economy.
Yea, it's not a tutorial state. Do you really die so often, that this tiny area is a problem? :)

Why not skip to level 50? It seems like a tutorial area to me. I want my chars to start at last difficulty with proper level, points to spend, random gear and currency. It's so annoying when I loose high level character and have to play again, as is part of the game, but it would be much nicer to be able to skip the first stages whenever this happens.
...
I said "tutorial" stage with the quotations, implying that it wasn't an actual tutorial stage, for one.
Second, no, it's not difficult, it just takes too long to really get into the game considering you basically get all the same loot on the same map against the same enemies and boss every time you restart in addition to there not being any multiplayer. On a first play through, it's all fine and dandy. On Hardcore, it's a chore, and 70 seconds of your time just plain wasted. Again and again.

Additionally, I don't play hardcore for bragging rights, I play hardcore because I like it and find it to be a thrilling experience, even when I lose, no matter how frustrating it is, as is part of the game. ALL I'm saying is to have hardcore characters automatically spawn into town so that they can start the real game with random instances and multiplayer rather than having to solo through the same stage again and again. Please, stop insulting my "skillz" in the game and please, PLEASE just read my post before commenting... It would be better for all of us, I'm sure.

I read your post, and I didn't agree.

We could also skip everything before you died and become just the same character you were before you died. But wait, you have this in default already...

Whenever I start a new character I just run straight to Hillock and kill him, you are in town within a minute or two and as far as I can tell there is no class that can't take him on with only the weapon and skill you get right at the start, although occasionally I have to backtrack and kill a few zombies to refill my flasks if my health / mana gets too low, hell I even beat him reasonably easily using a bare knuckle marauder with no equipment whatsoever.
