Whats your all time favorite RPG race/class??

Elf-ish mage type or a barbarian warrior.

Paladins. I love the combo of heavy armor and magic.
My favorite race? hm.. dwarfs and humans

I usually go for rogue/warrior/mage even priest like classes.

Durable melee classes with aoe.

Or casters/range that can farm easily.

Will usually play an elf-type character (if the lore is good), or human, or an original race.

Lots of dexterity, evasion, crit chance, a sword/dagger in each hand, starting attack from a range with a bow and some occasional magic; traps are definitely not there for me. Medium to hard-medium armour (never plate). Nimble fingers, slicky mind. Yet following my personal ethical conduct, and can be very fanatic on it, i.e. sometimes act against my own best for higher reasons.
A lone survivor, I will call it. With a heart (but don't build on it!).
Male, if possible (in too many games the male chars are so ugly done comparably to the female ones that you just have to wear boobs to keep your honor in the right place).
I hate large pointed ears, exotic eyes and anything that went too far from your common humanoid, so it's elf (when the ears are not overdone), human, or a nice enough looking orc that does resemble a man slightly more than a monkey, nothing more above this.
Long hair, if allowed.
"Scandinavian" origin, if lucky.
Something like that.

In the past, I tended to favor some variation of an elven ranger/thief. I've always liked the stealthy aspect and being able to pick and choose my battles with lots of escape options, but I've since broadened my playstyle. Over the past couple of years I've often found myself playing casters in various games.

I'm currently playing an esoteric drow witch in a friend's D&D campaign, and I've been having a blast with it.

my favorit is warrior(diablo 1) and swordmaster(warhammer online). i like to tank and spank ^^ but other than that i can play anything as long as they are entertaining and let me kill my opponent in a gruesome way >)

Necromancer from Diablo II, loved being able to command an army of minions to kill things whilst I shot from a distance with my Crossbow
