Whats your all time favorite RPG race/class??

My favourite class is usually the thief, assassin type. I also find archer classes really fun. My favourite races usually depend on what game I am playing. In WoW I enjoyed playing Orcs a lot but in Morrowind I enjoyed playing the Kajhit. Dwarves are always awesome even if I don't play one.

I've always loved assassin style classes, ever since playing (not an RPG) Thief. Before that I would walk in and just pound things with a huge hammer, and I played a tank in my WoW days.. but being a frail character with a dexterity addiction is more amusing.

In most rpg's I go for the magic class/s, there's just something about lobbing fireball after fireball at your enemies or summoning up an army of minions to do your bidding.

If it's my first run through, usually a warrior or paladin type. Mostly physical attacks, with a few healing spells if possible.

Afterwards, I usually experiment with a mage.

all in all... Warrior :)

melee dps / caster sneaky classes are to boring.

Paladin... combine healing with defenses and have the ability to smite things on top of that! I love shields too and paladins just seem silly if they don't have one.

At the moment, my all time favorite race-class combination is Worgen Druid, but I guess it will be beaten by a Norn Ranger with the release of Guild Wars 2.

I really like shapeshifting and pets.

Assasin/Ranger (any class that uses bows or crossbows)

I really like barbarian/warrior or assassin/rogue. If possible, I make them as dwarves.
