QUESTION!

I downloaded the whole 4gb file using cross over in a good 2 -3 hours oh so, only to find myself being really excited to see a screen telling me there's a fragment block something.... I was very disapointed and i'm wondering now if anyone knows what the problem is and how to fix it? Or should i download another software to run the game? Advice please :D?

Post screenshot, also try to browse this topic, possibly there is already solution for that.

I donloaded, unpack on desktop, downloaded the 4.57 GB, then when i click launch this happens:

1)The D3D device has a non-zero reference count, meaning some objects were not released.

I click ok and this appears

2)Failed resetting Direct3D device objects

I click ok and this appears

3)DXUTCreateDevice failed.

The window stays open but nothing happens game doesnt load.

Anybody knows what I can do in order to be able to play this game?

Has anyone yet had the chance to test this with Late 2012 iMacs?
Hello Guys, I was previously one of those former D players and have come across this game and like what I see apart from the Mac version :)

So I tried everything recommended in this post from upgrading to the latest patch, snow leopard 10.6.8

with these stats
Model Name: MacBook Pro
Model Identifier: MacBookPro8,1
Processor Name: Intel Core i7
Processor Speed: 2.7 GHz
Number of Processors: 1
Total Number of Cores: 2
L2 Cache (per Core): 256 KB
L3 Cache: 4 MB
Memory: 4 GB
Boot ROM Version: MBP81.0047.B27
SMC Version (system): 1.68f98
Serial Number (system): C02FR3GRDH2H
Hardware UUID: 1FBC5E7D-0C9A-5B4F-9EB1-1074DFFF9039
Sudden Motion Sensor:
State: Enabled

the problem is the game still fails to load

with D3ERR_INVALIDCALL

so i tried this

This may or may not help.
1) Right click the wrapper->Show contents
2) Open wineskin
3) select Advanced->Tools->Winetricks
4) from settings check glsl=enabled and click Run
5) close all Wineskin windows, and try to launch the game

Should I upgrade from snow leopard? will that solve the issue?
