Can't get Beta Wrapper to work ATM just getting a terminal window from XQuartz and thats it.

Yeah I'm getting this from the 3.5, so I just went back to the original one :/
Dat

Spoiler
Is 3.1 a new stable version or was the version that was already up? I restarted the new 3.5 and my cursor was gone and I didn't bother to try to play. Probably going to redownload the 3.1 and run that for a while.

The last version I had installed (I deleted it after I couldn't get the 3.5 to work initially because of the error regarding the contents.ggpk file) worked for the most part. I had the graphics issues and then I fixed that by using other wine engines but was getting frame stuttering to varying degrees on the different versions.

Alright, after restarting PoE 3.5 wrapper again for the 4th time it appears that my mouse is back. Although now I have had 2 random crashes to desktop. One was when I was pushing the "S" key which was opening up whatever it is set to by default. The second one was as I was running around and I hit the spacebar and it just crashed to desktop.

Other then that it seems to be working now. However on my Summoner I am getting some bad frame droppage when I get into combat with and without my arc totem going off.

Alright, I had Safari up and restarted PoE. PoE came up in the background behind Safari and when I went over to PoE I had no mouse again. HOWEVER clicking on the bar across the top with the clock and what have you on it and then clicking back in the game I now can see my mouse icon although it is not the in game mouse Icon. Just an observation. I am playing in Windowed mode.

Great, I know what you mean by the bash/terminal window, but as I told, I can't help if you do not send the logs.

Also, you could edit your previous post, instead double post.

Does it crashes with same type of errors as before?

Also, you are nvidia user, run regedit and disable the OverrideVertexShadera (HKCU/Software/Wine/Direct3D). It should speedup the game.

I am begining to wonder about that missing mouse issue, it NEVER happened to me in any game I ported (swtor, grimrock, path of exile) or any other but still there are reports that mouse cursor is missing, even on the same HW I have... maybe some popular osx modification I am not aware of?

or corrupted wrapper. The wine is complaining it cannot load system libraries... (also for 10.7.5 and 10.8.2 you need xquartz 2.7.4, older xquartz will crash)

I have xQuartz version 2.7.4 so maybe the wrapper is corrupt? I can re-download the beta wrapper and try again.

Ok I HATE being a noob, stupid unfamiliarity with Mac OSX, how do you do the regedit in the OS? I tried the good ole "regedit" but nothing came up :(

Sorry brand new to Mac, learning every day and this just helps me learn a bit more.

How exactly do I find the logs for that? lol
On the first page there is directions on how to find your log files and which ones to post.

1) Right click the wrapper->Show contents
2) navigate to Contents / Resources / Logs
3) The LastRunWine.log and LastRunX11.log are often needed when troubleshooting

*edit: NM about the registry. Through some google searching I have figured it out. Now to just find the file I am looking for.

*edit: I'm an idiot. I was looking through all the .plist files in the library/preferences trying to find this so I just did another google search and found something similar on codeweavers.com which led me to the regedit option in wine......which would have made this much easier. At least I learned a few things along the way.
