You can find a Solution for this on the first page of the thread.
I keep getting having the same problem when i launch the game! When i open it it says " Failed resetting Direct3D device objects". On the first page it says to set game to fullscreen but i dont know how to do that. please respond and explain what i have to do please.
I see how to make it full screen but when i try to edit production_config.ini it says it cant open. What should i do?

this is just happened. still waiting to see if game will load from that screen. clicked ok a couple times and the error disappeared.

EDIT: After nothing happening after ages the game eventually crashed in same loading screen.

You are not using my port, but someone else's. This happens only when openal32 override is not set in winecfg...

Could it be that my wine isn't updated?

That error means: Openal32 not present (should be, already within the wrapper with correct settings) or cannot find sound card... adding --nosound to launch parameter will workaround the issue for this, but obviously there will be no sound.
Are there any news regarding a new and better working port?

Yes, but not good ones.

My mac is back from repair, and it seems to be fully working again. However, the new wine version still suffers from the slow loading and lags, even when the wine code was greatly optimized to avoid that. I will release the new version during this week, but it will have just wine and wineskin version updated uptodate... Possibly it will have less crashes, maybe it will even work faster for some people (well but definetly not for me :/


Technicaly speaking, the Wine Devs did all to avoid mmap "private" where possible, however, the game still loads the game a lot of files as "private" with "prot_write" which greatly impacts performance on mac for some reason.
