However, this guy clearly prefers the gamepad. Xpadder is software which emulates keystrokes and mouse movements using your gamepad. I actually have a Logitech gamepad which came with software that allows this same function. Sorry to repeat myself so much, but I hate to see this needless arguing on the forums. Someone tried to make a unique script for playing PoE with an xbox controller a while back. Last I saw he had the basics down and was working on improving it. This is the exact thread that I have seen in Diablo 3, Guild Wars 2, Torchlight, etc.! If I can make a pad work then so be it! I get serious pain in wrist and elbow after long play sessions with a mouse and kb. I guess that I am a troll for disliking pain. Choices should be applauded not discouraged. With that being said there is absolutely nothing wrong with wanting to play with a controller. It is your tool of choice for playing, and some are impressible good at it. Now that I got that out, if no controller support is to be implemented, I would suggest using the MotionJoy software. For example, this allows you to connect a ps3 controller via Bluetooth dongle (EDR 2.0+) and dupe it into a 360 pad. It also allows you to fully map the keyboard and Mouse to the controller. I have main tank raided, PvP with hunter, and what not in WoW with a ps3 controller since vanilla, and done this for many games. I like my FPS with Mouse & KB but there are games I like with a pad, nothing wrong with that. I suggest you try it out, for this kind of game it can work if you put the effort into mapping it, I did a pad build for Diablo III and it wasn't too bad for some classes, though M&K might be needed if you are not quick on the pad.
