I'm 23, but it's nice to see a thread like this.

Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy.

I'm 43. Started gaming with Pong on an old Philips console (the first ever console) when I was a kid. Later had a VC20, C64 (remember Pirates!), unfortunatly never had an Amiga so played on my friends Amiga (Pizza Connection & the Settlers, yeeeeeee!). Later build my first 286, 386...
Been gaming as long as I can think ...
Still am a top notch PVPer and a solid PVEer in all the MMO's I played. Love theorycrafting and taking my time while leveling but usualy I kick ass in endgame because I took my time to learn my class(es) ;)
The oldest player I played with was 69, he was the meanest roughest and toughest EVE Online player I knew, bad as fuck PVPer from hell. Never seen a better player in this game.

We are here, and we kick ass!
I say it with Neil Young: Hey Hey My My Rock'nRoll will never die!

The average age of players in my EvE corp is 48, and it's not a small corp
Just a sec let me grab a beer...@#*@ Ok how did I die this time

Learn the rules, it's the only way to exploit them.
32 to here so feel young chiming in. First gaming experiences were coleco vision and intellivision (never had an Atari console). Congo Bongo, Bump N Jump, Masters of the universe, night stalker and some game where you were a knight and had to kill 3 dragons (green, yellow red) then a pair of mages(green, yellow, red) on next level, then can't remember what the third level enemies were. Edit: ah quick google pulled it up... Thunder Castle!

Please stick around and post more often, it's a breath of fresh air on here. The 80s consoles should be required gaming for the new generation of gamers. It would cut back on the entitled whining. The question "Why can't metroid crawl?" speaks volumes. Yeah remember those times we sat around watching our friends have fun playing NES and Atari like these jokers do with twitch? I sure don't it was always a fight for the remote because no one wanted to watch. Multiplayer games the loser got kicked off in shame and replaced with the punishment being they had to watch in disgrace until it was their turn again.
Best results as Ranger
rank 29 (1 Hr Lethal TI Solo (S02E148))
rank 40 (2 Hr Fixed Seed Solo (S02E249))
rank 49 (1 Hour BLAMT Solo (S02E258))

Hail from Denmark,

39 years young here turning 40 September. Have been playing since I can remember. Loved the good old Amaiga days playing Speed Ball (I think), Warlords & Kick Off for whole weekends without any sleep but on the chair when my friend had to move his armies in Warlords.

I love this thread.

As I've said elsewhere, my mother's a huge gamer, to the point where she was told by the doctor to stop playing the more twitchy ones or she'd get some sort of RSI-related injury. I think she put over 200 hours into every Final Fantasy after III/VI, still remembers how to navigate the cities in Hero's Quest/Quest For Glory, recalls the Myst games with fondness and recently relived some of the glory of The Bard's Tale on her tablet.

She's 59.

Fuckin' Myst is boss! remember playing that on the first PS. That game was hard...i'm 25. Dad is 58 and still plays AoE2, says its the best game, can't beat it.

Been playing P/E since January. Finally figured out some builds to take me into the 70s. Paid for game many times over with stash slots.

Age 61. Will be 62 in October.

We old folks are out there, hiding in plain sight. Most here would be astonished if they knew how many of us there were. I started a old folks guild on WoW in 2007. Huge demand.

My first video game was Pong in 1973, which I played on the 1st cabinet ever installed at MIT campus in Boston. I loved my Amiga 1000. Fairie Tale Adventure was my 1st RPG on that platform in 1988. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Faery_Tale_Adventure.

Awesome game.
