shopping outside is so inefficient... drops your effective dps... everyone knows you can get everything online and stores are for n00bs that overpay :P

Edit: plus you have to talk to people and they talk back at you :/...

I actually prefer normal shops, cause i like to touch stuff before i buy it. and it makes returns easier (and they happen often, most things i buy are broken, like the last headphones i bought xD)
Im 20, started playing diablo 2 since i was 6 if i remember well. My dad is 50 and he plays games everyday :)

Great thread...I don't feel so weird now! I am turning 42 this Saturday and haven't been this excited about a game in a long time. My first systems was the magnavox odyssey, had to get it from a department store called Sears. Thanks for bringing up such a fun topic and outing some of us old folks!

I dun tell folks my real age, 'cause they'd never believe it. Hell, I dun believe it.

My inner nine-year-old spends a lotta time in charge. =^[.]^=

I love this thread.

As I've said elsewhere, my mother's a huge gamer, to the point where she was told by the doctor to stop playing the more twitchy ones or she'd get some sort of RSI-related injury. I think she put over 200 hours into every Final Fantasy after III/VI, still remembers how to navigate the cities in Hero's Quest/Quest For Glory, recalls the Myst games with fondness and recently relived some of the glory of The Bard's Tale on her tablet.

She's 59.

I remember Myst =)

I'm 23, but it's nice to see a thread like this.

Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy.
