These lists depend on what I've seen recently and my mood at the point I answer, but whatever. In no particular order:

Spirited Away
Grave of the Fireflies

I watch the entire Ouran series straight through at work during a 12 hour shift. It was entertaining.

My first online persona was Dark Schneider; some people from Bnet still call me that, in fact.

In hindsight, it was terribly egotistical of me to choose a seven foot tall godly mage of fire and death as my online persona.

My friend made Ninja Master Gara a boss fight in a DnD campaign. I used his sword to kill an ancient black dragon...needless to say that was an epic campaign. :)

@dashgalaxy86 - loved Trigun :)

Movies:
5 Centimeters Per Second
Neon Genesis Evangelion: 1.1 You Are (Not) Alone
Spirited Away
Princess Mononoke
Steamboy/Akira/Ninja Scroll/Afro Samurai

Shows
None, to be honest. I don't watch series.
Kiwi Name = Sir Remington Kiwi; Duke of that tree over there.

I seen so many anime shows/movies in my life time that is tough to find an absolute favorite. Luckily, the TV version has it locked.

TV version
1. Dragonball Z
2. One Piece
3. Naruto/Naruto Shippuden
4. CLANNAD/CLANNAD After Story
5. Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood

Movie version
1. Kara no Kyoukai (actually counts as a movie series)
2. 5cm Per Second
3. Spirited Away
4. Pokemon: The Movie 2000 (Surprisingly, it was my favorite pokemon movie by far, and none has come clase to it)

5. Break Blade ( same as Kara no Kyoukai, movie series)

It was tough to decide the fifth spot since there are also other Studio Ghibli's movies that I really liked, and it was tough to choose one.
