"client.exe has stopped working"

hello guys ,

I have installed path of exile today , and after finishing the patch download I have tried to start the game , but everytime I launch the client it instantly stops working and gives me the error "client.exe has stopped working".

Anyone can help me out with how to fix that ?

I did get that problem once. I restarted the game and it never came back. Maybe it's connected to the 'stuck in loading screen' problem.

i ran the packcheck now but it did not give me any error/problem

what else could cause this problem ? ( considering system spec etc)

I've just had the same problem. Run the Pack Check, and didn't found any errors.

Try to install/reinstall OpenAL, it comes with the game, but you can find it on internet at Creative's website (I don't remember the link).

Some people had very similar crash and fixed by installing this. Try it. :)

i can't pass to dark forest,same messages.all other area i visited before is ok,i can use way points.dark forest...no way to pass in..please help.

I dont know the other guy with the same problem but i'm 99% sure that mine is for overheating in the Video Card. But i was having problems with that before so i'm going to try some thing to cool down the temperature first and then see whats happens.

How long time is the packcheck?

10 min now and nothing happens...
