"client.exe has stopped working"

I am also having this issue. At first it was just every now and then, although it seems to get worse every time it happens. I am now getting client.exe has stopped working after about 10-30 seconds in game.

I have tried reinstalling it, tried installing it to a different drive, ran a pack check, reinstalled graphics drivers and tried different versions all to no effect.

Any more ideas on how to fix this?

I also had the client.exe-errors and the pack check didn't help.

When I downloaded the openAL32-installer (see link below), the PoE-client downloaded the last patch again and now the game is running.
