Too many leagues are killing this game

This is a bloody good point.

On the other hand, I have the opposite issue. I have *way* too many alts in MMOs that really demand focus and attention on one or two characters only. Not my fault MMOs make all the classes and sub-classes interesting. :(

FFXIV. All classes on one character!
I usually stay out of these kind of posts, but here goes.

Ever since the OB, there have been people on the forum claiming POE is dying. Why? I really have no idea other than they like to depress others, IE: Trolling.

Solution? Just ignore them and move on. Time will tell if the game is a true success or not. Not random posters on the forum.

Currently, I consider it to be a success and have enjoyed my time playing it. That said, I am not currently playing as I am playing Skyrim. Once I'm done with that, I plan to come back. Often went away from D2 after playing myself out only to return 6 months to a year later over and over again.

He have right.
All my frends are gone to and playng another game now.
Instead of working for more end game content and make those shit items more spectacular they only nerf things and add new leagues.

If you think so negatively of the game, why are you still playing it?

If you aren't still playing it, why are you posting here bitching?

Speak negative opinions doesn't mean hate this game.
why don't u speak in better way? why always so aggressive? <Removed by Admin>

That't another point, you can "come back" . You can take a 3-4month break and come back to a fresh new ladder, instead of a game where the economy is slowly going down etc.

I disagree with the OP...

GGG are doing a great job, and new leagues, in my opinion, only make the game more appealing.

More leagues are like having more content.
I agree with OP , too many fresh (lol after 15 hours there were higher prices everywhere on anarchy already) leagues are definately killing it for me and my friends.

Agreed. Unfortunately a part of the community treats this game as if it was an MMORPG and wants it to be like one. All the 'endgame' complaints and stuff. I don't get it.

That being said, this game has been dead for such a long time. There have been countless 'xy is killing the game', 'GGG if you don't do this PoE will die' and similar threads. Can't take those threads seriously, especially when someone is trying to argue that ladders are killing an ARPG.
While I think the OP makes a good point with the difficulty of trading as the number of leagues increase, I can imagine that the website changes and trading improvements to come will alleviate most of this burden.

Although I'm loving Anarchy right now, and enjoying my build more than ever before, I do agree that having too many leagues at once divides the player base. PoE already has a relatively small player base to begin with, and it's split up further with the addition of these leagues; not a good idea IMO. Yeah, new leagues provide a fresh economy - but for how long (see anarchy); new things to achieve; but they still end up splitting the player base.

I've had friends that I've always ran maps with on standard, and they're still there because they're so attached to their character - and who can really blame them? I really hope after these 2 new leagues have come to an end, GGG holds off on adding more leagues for at least a month or two.
