Loot stolen on permanent allocation?

Interestly enough I know that this is not the case because my fiancé and I Play together with monitors literally side by side and it was greyed out on her screen but not on mine.

It was available for you since it was short allocated to you. Wasn't allocated to your GF ---> she had it grayed

I bet even on her screen at a same point it was not grayed and was available since its short allocation faded; or veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery probably, item was stolen 0.1 seconds after your allocation faded and so your GF couldn't see it ungrayed on her screen (nimble hands and fast clicking helps).

If it's not like this, then i'm hacking too without knowing, since i "stole" on perma allocation yesterday the items mentioned before.

and TBH, maybe it's only me, but even in the rare cases i join a perma looting istance, i run to pick up my allocated drop ASAP

PS: Also, this can be a reason too... but it doens't seems your case:

What happens is that it was allocated to someone else, whom clicked it right away, but they had a full inventory, so it drops again and is lit up for everyone. Then everyone thinks it was allocated to them and someone picks it up, and claims of "hack!" ensue.

This is a common occurrence, especially when the screen is littered and it takes your eyeballs a few hundred ms to see that orange on screen.

There is a script that allow people to pick up loot that isn't allocated to them.

This just happened AGAIN to me. killed a pile of mobs in Chamber of Sins lvl3. A 6 socket bow dropped and allocated to me. Because it was on permanent allocation I left it there whilst we killed the rest of the mobs (MAIN reason for my liking perma as it stops people just simply concentrating on loot rather than the kills and team).

Lo and behold it got picked up.

This has happened too many times now for it to not be a bug or an exploit. I prefer to think of it as a bug because I am trustworthy that most people do not abuse bugs due to not wanting to be banned.

To those who think they know it all and are giving uninformed reasons for this happening I should just say this... I hope it happens to you on a 6L / Dream Fragment / Lionseye / etc. as you are not helping the situation which is occuring.

A definite bug/exploit.

[edit:] Just so you know the instance was made on permanent allocation. The rest of the greyed out loot stayed greyed out. Nobody left the map, nobody died, nobody picked it up with a full inventory. This IS a bug/exploit.

Yes it is an exploit. It is being discussed on a website that also has 2 different sets of instructions with programs and links on how to multibox & bot to maximize dock runs.

Do a search if you're curious. There is lots of public information available which works half-assed with the really good programs private. The newest one I know of uses C++ coding to calculate bot path on randomized MAP runs.
Crafting doesn't exist in POE. Gambling does...and the house always wins.

Velocireptile - I LOL'ed. Which made me fart. I wish the office were empty right now :(

Hardlicker - I had to push the dog out of the way so I could get to the sexy quilt.

I think this is most definitely happening, I know it happens, but I know Ive seen gem fall from a killed creature that none of the party was near and its then been taken while all other loot I can see is definitely on perm. When its happened like that, and thats happened a few times, its mainly been with superior gems and orbs, which are 1 box items, people are rarely full tetris inventory stacked, and Im certain Ive seen them drop from the monster allocated to me.
I love all you people on the forums, we can disagree but still be friends and respect each other :)

I can't find a single thing on an exploit or hack for the perma loot. Mind oyu I do not pay to access to the forums that may hold this info. I merely browse out of interest (no i dont bot/MBox/Hack but that doesnt mean I dont like to keep uptodate with those who do).

ggg are massively incompetent why is anyone surprised by this
because they arent.

In this case you should not blame ggg.Scripts are hard to be detected and they are various, because even a poor programmer may write one easily.I have a friend,D3 lover, who wrote a pick up script for about 20 mins.It works and he was never caught, despite the D3 security and all the professional coders that take care about in-game security.
