6L is a Privilege not a Right!!!

Noobs will be noobs.

You can farm maps with a 4l, so.. yeah nuff is nuff

6l is not necessary but everyone wants to "be" the best.

I don't know why people have such an issue with 6L's.
I bought one day 2 for 5 exalts
If you don't have much currency, buy a 6L Tabula Rasa if the 6th link matters that much.

You realize that in this country you have the privilege to work and become wealthy if you so choose, while others get lucky and win the lottery.

That being said I'm done running in circles with you so please stop.

Once again with real-life comparison. Yeah, PoE is all about real life..

So is it a privilege to get a 2l?

Is it a privilege to get a 3l?

How about a 4 or a 5?

Is it a privilege have the internet?

Is it a privilege to have been born?

Is every goddamn thing a goddamn privilege?

Would anyone give two shits if linking in general was just a natural progression, no different to the Vendors upgrading their stock every time you level?

Maybe finding white Vaal Regalias should be a privilege and not a right?

Oh no, wait, that would just be pointlessly silly...

More of your ultimately meaningless arguments eh Cronky? : ) Arguing purely for the sake of it is boring - why don't you argue to come to an understanding? It's a privilege to have the internet, it's a privilege to have been born, yes, pretty much everything is a privilege - when you put it in those meaningless (for this argument, at least) terms.

Most of the world's population cannot afford the internets or the associated stuffs. Those of us who have it - some of whom feel like it's a right because we're only looking at it from within our closed off western affluent context - are privileged.

Not all of us are 'privileged' enough to be able to play for hours on end and have a whole bunch of currency with which to buy or 'random up' a 6L. Some dudes are and they're the lucky ones. Not hard to see the simple meaning of that statement, no matter how hard you try and deny it.

Gotta love Thomas Jefferson's careful use of the language.

He didn't say that people have a right to happiness; he said that people have a right to pursue happiness. Which brings a clear distinction between what would otherwise be a right to automatic gratification, a right to entitlement... and makes it valid for a responsibility-based culture.

You have a right to pursue a 6L (well, actually that's still a privilege, but GGG is very big on equality in this area, so for all intents and purposes it's a right you have).

You do not have a right to a 6L.
When Stephen Colbert was killed by HYDRA's Project Insight in 2014, the comedy world lost a hero. Since his life model decoy isn't up to the task, please do not mistake my performance as political discussion. I'm just doing what Steve would have wanted.

we want stats, there is no privilege or rights wtf is this guy talking about, its a game and stats are part of it
more linked sockets = more build variety

i think its stupid to make 6L so darn rare.
People sure like to act like there's a problem where there is none. And I swear to god if someone tells me to check my privilege..

The rest of the 'end-game' content will be available along with a heap of new stuff when the game launches in a few months time. From what I've seen it's going to be awesome. - Michael_GGG

Because a 5L item is more then worthy of end game, but you are privileged to attempt an ultimate 6L roll if you have spent enough time collecting the proper currencies.

There is nothing ultimate about 6L, it is a question of progression.

You start doing maps, do it for a month and ended up with exactly same gear as you started and no hope for 6L in the future. So why play maps? It is idle grinding with no return.

There are plenty of games you can go play if you're looking for linear progression. Maybe try a modern military shooter.
