6L is a Privilege not a Right!!!

i lived both ends of the stick

first 6L i got when i was leveling first character. was level 53. Found this 6 socket bow, was newish to the game so i only had like 30ish fusings

17 fusings later.... 6 linked.....

then as i became more experienced, acquired wealth etc, i bough my first Lionseye.

took ~ 180 jewelers to 6 socket it.

then it took 1300 fusings to 6 link it

It's all a matter of time. In a few months, 6Ls will be handed out to new players to make room in your stash. That's how these games work. Since items are never removed from Standard involuntarily, eventually everyone will have gear approaching the best in slot, and nothing else will be worth picking up to vendor.

That is what people were saying about Diablo 3, and the prices only go up

Privilege based on what? Someone can grind his ass 16h day 3month and wont get anything (sorry he would have been awarded by frustration of burning everything he have grinded) while some random guy got 6L on first try. Are you not seeing something wrong here?:]
So did Legacy items naturally goes away as intended or they still core of standard economy 4 years later after they became "feature".

This goes out to all the people who have wasted mountains of currency on 6 linking items.

Here is how it's done;

Step 1: Find or trade for, a nice piece of gear that you would like to socket with up to 6 links.
Step 2: Use jewellers orbs to acquire no less then 6 sockets.
Step 3: Use fusing orbs in HOPES that you get 6 links
Step 4: Here is the kicker, if you hit a 5-link STOP crafting, the item is complete, better luck at a 6 link next time.

The point is that having a six linked item is something that happens out of luck and if you roll a 5 link, you will suffer nothing but frustration if you push past that by spending currencies, and chances are you will spend more then what your 6 link item will be worth anyways.

Sorry to disappoint those who would like to think otherwise but the truth hurts sometimes.

Or... just use eternal orbs?

To buy 6L I need years to play. I have 5L already, bought for 16 chaos

The gap is too big, no point of playing PoE end game

what... you can find pretty cheap 6ls dude, and people who dont use RMT sites buy 6ls too you dont even need close to years, with 40 gcp equivalent you can buy even a decent 6l or a white one, with a real life can get 40 gcp in a week or two, no-lifers get them faster.

ok and what about people like me that have played many hours, on a few alts, used hundreds of jewellers and fusings and haven't even lucked out with a 5 link. I've had one 5 link melee staff drop for me, and that's it.

Don't say trade, because it should not be this hard to get a 5 link chest naturally through your own play. They should adjust something.

Because a 5 link shavs should be worth as much as a 5 link level 46 white armor right?

whonsaid anything about shaves, I'm talking about any 5 link white, blue, rare, unique, it doesn't matter. I've seen 1 white quality staff and that's it. Tons of farming items and attempted crafting, and not even a 5 link i can use. my luck just sucks apparently.
