Do minions benefit from charges, auras and equipment?

And this is why I freakin' love GGG.

Extremely useful information Mark, thank you very, very much. Definitely appreciated.
Indeed, thank you for the answers Mark :)

Charges work on Minions, particularly with Warlord's Mark, but Conduit does not. Auras and Totems also work with Minions.

To add on to this question, however, I'd like to ask whether Minions benefit from the Passive Skill Tree or not. Ie, if I take Arcing Blows and my Minions have the Wrath Aura up, will they take Arcing Blows into account, or will I be the only one to benefit from that?
No. Your minions don't have your passive skills, you do. If you have a passive increasing your fire damage, then your fire damage is increased. Your minions do not have that passive (or any passives), and thus their fire damage is not increased.

The only passives that can affect minions are the ones which give you a bonus that explicitly modifies your minions.

Totems are not minions, and work completely differently. A totem does not have skills of it's own, but uses your skills. Since your skills are affected by your passives, they still are when they are cast by your totems. However, the totem does not itself have your stats, so does not benefit from your defensive passives - only the spells cast by the totem get your stats, because they're your spells, just cast via the totem. The totem itself uses it's own stats to defend with.

Just to get clarification, minion instability damage also increases from +minion damage % passives?
Thanks everyone. Just got back from a vacation I am about to kick in soon :)

GG
read the whole thread did not see this asked, with necromatic aegis, if you are wearing a str/int shield with 24% resists, does that affect your minions?

As far as I know currently it does not due to engine limitations. Iirc from older posts MI works like this currently - minion explodes and insted of doing damage that can be affected by all sorts of bonuses (like minion damage passives/support gem) it just substracts a set number (in this case minion hp) from monsters hp. Tho I'm not sure if it even counts as fire damage atm thus it might be bypassing monster resists.

Good to know. I'll gauge if it's worth it vs other stuff.
After much searching and asking, it seems the boys at GGG are the only ones who can help me with my query.

Certain pieces of gear and passives state that when when you are rewarded with a kill, you gain mana or life. It is also elsewhere stated that you are rewarded for kills acquired by minions. Would it then follow that kills acquired by minions would grant you mana and life from said items/passives? Thanks.
