I don't think loot options would be such a bad thing. But I do think that instanced loot as one of those options would be very bad.
If options are given it should be: Long timers, Short timers, and Pure FFA. Instanced loot is silly... just play single player if you want instanced loot because that is what it is.
You get rewarded for having more players in your game, because there are more ppl to grab the items, and the content is harder. To instance the loot would require that those rewards be reduced because you cant have your cake and eat it too.

That is bullshit, instanced loot does not make it single player. If you want to make a point, then you need to leave out stuff like that or only Voudo and his friends will take you seriously.
