No, just because the nametag isn't visible doesn't mean it didn't drop "for you" in the very same sense as before.

Over 50% increase in the timer, that is alot IMO.

The game is getting further and further from your FFA, but loot options could stop that. I won't be surprised if next year it's the FFA supporters who are asking for loot options.

So 1 + 1 is a huge? Ok.....

Sorry man, i don't see it. Also i don't really mind. To me an extra second for loot timers that was made to give people a "CHANCE' for drops in a FFA setting is not a HUGE deal.

And like i said. Im glad to see the names go. And yes, no more name tags means it didn't drop for you. CHRIS made that clear with his comment. No more names means no more claims.

All claims for drops from this point on will be strictly imaginary.

At this point. You just seem like a person hell bent on gettng things your way and rubbing someones face in it. You act as if i should be angry or upset about it. Which im not.

Its a not a big deal. Not to me anyways. I actually am happy about the removal of names.

It depends on how you look at it. 60% increase is alot, there is no denying that. But ofcourse one second is just one second.

What makes people ffel entitled to the items is that it drops to them. The name tag was just for show. No one else can pick it up = dropped for me. Simple as that.

Read this..... And get it right.

I suspect (and support) that players will still grab items if the other players aren't making any effort to get to them quickly. To some extent, removing the names is to try to reinforce that they are items for your whole party, not just for the person who happened to get the first chance at them.

It really is... Simple as that.

What Chris INTENDS is not the fucking point. Items were for your whole party even with the name tags! Yet it didn't really turn out that way. I am just saying that you shouldn't be so quick to believe that removing the names will be some miracle solution.
I will probably reinforce it in some extent, but "No more names means no more claims" is far from fact.

Actually what Chris INTENDS is the point. Its his game and NOT YOURS.

You can choose to play this game anyway you want. Hell, you can choose to make games called "ALL DROPS ARE MINE" for all i care. It is what it is.

Also, from here on in. When some whiney baby starts crying about NINJAs anyone can honestly say. "I didn't see anyones name on it"..

Thats the solution for me. Chance timers where never meant to mean 'PERSONAL DROPS'.
Now, people who cry about NINJAS will be basicaly talking our thier ass's.

Which i've been saying since I 1st started posting in this thread.

I runn with the top10 players and we all think this was a horrible change.

we like to play fair with each other, and the SINGLE HANDED BEST WAY to make loot as fair as possible was to call out peoples name who the loot was dropped to.

this is no longer possible, so now what you get is a bunch of assholes camping items because they cant tells whos it is so it can be picked up for themselves.

This not only encourage douchebagness, it also slows down everyone else running because you are not dpsing just to try and pick up the item for yourself.

this is no random pug group... this is the top 10 soft core player base. and we all agree it was a terrible change.

Are you just not reading???

It doesn't matter what you have been saying from day 1 or how YOU see loot drops.

As you say: "Chance timers where never meant to mean 'PERSONAL DROPS'". But PEOPLE STILL REGARDED IT AS SUCH.
What I am trying to get into your head now is that removing the names will most likely not make everyone change how they view the loot. Items still "drop for them". It wasn't just about the name tag, it was alot more about the fact that you are the only one who can pick it up, and THAT also makes it 'PERSONAL DROPS'.
