To claim that a business with many employees don't care about revenue is just beyond ridiculous.

Here is definite proof that they care about revenue: The items in their shop are not free.

Infact, I am certain that they care ALOT about revenue and profit. They have investors that are waiting for return on their investments.
So they will try to maximize profits, under certain constraints. Just like every other business.

Loot system sucks so hard... when you have terrible lags it's impossible to pick up your loot.
And it made most of the players to only party with their friends.

I am going to go ahead and state the obvious that guys in a band playing a show for free doesn't really cost them much of anything.

People working on a video game like this have to care somewhat about the revenue to support the game because it COSTS them a lot to do it. Big difference there.

There needs to be ONE soltuion when it comes to loot. You cannont divide the communtiy and game based of loot rules. It just doesn't work well that way.


Every game i've ever player that caters to certain people ends up ruining the game. The more options the more it causes the divide.

Divide is bad in game like this when you already have other simple options. As in play with friends or play alone.


Party play is not like the "core" of the game per se.
I don't think it'd "divide the community" that greatly like you say

It divides gameplay in 2 ways: fast-paced but uncontrollable, and slow-paced but controllable.

I wanted that suggestion to span MORE than just loot...but yeah I couldn't really think of other stuff that it could span on the spot (that's my bad though) :/

Things can get tweaked so players from both "camps" join both types of parties

For instance, someone that is anti-FFA may join a "cut-throat" party if his sole intention is just rushing through a zone he can't solo.
However, if he wants to farm a certain place for loot and the like, he can join a "group" party and the like.

If you are gonna state the 'so called obvious' then you might want to get your facts straight.


Its not like they hitch hike around with some back pack karaoke machine, some empty buckets and some spoons.


Stacks/Speakers. Mixers. Equipment/instruments and the cost of traveling.


Also, they play for free because they enjoy it. What are you blind or something?

I already typed that out twice and made it clear as hell.

The loot system as is really is the worst of both worlds.

I'd rather it be completely FFA loot than the name countdown thing.

It's just human nature to associate something with your name on it as "yours"

All the current system does is make everyone feel like they are constantly being stolen from.

Either go raw FFA or drastically increase the timer, I'm talking something like 30 seconds.

The 1st step in the wrong direction was trying to cater to players who played ranged class and complained about not being able to get certain drops. When its clearly not true.

The actual timer is so random it makes no sense.

Last game i played with a friend he constantly got Wisdom/TP scrolls with timers.. It was almost too funny to think that anyone thinks this is fair and people should respect those timers as allocated loot.

the timers are a second RNG god...FFA proves that nothing can save it...so just remove it or be honest with the playerbase and say that FFA is the only looting system that we want for whatever reason and decide if you stick to this game or not.

But you are already dividing the game when you refuse to accept that playing with friends/like minded players is the key to success.

Anyone can join a guild or make friends if they choose.



Take Red Dead Redemption for example.. It was a great game with some great multiplayer ruined by to many options. They added Auto Aim because some people enjoyed it.

Now all manual aim games are dead and all Auto Aim games are constantly full.


I used to get chewed up buy Auto Aim supporters just like Non FAA supporters in this forum all the time. It was all about options and blah blah blah.


Now, the game is dead. Its an auto aimers wet dream.


Thats how you divide and kill a good game. Cater to lowest common player and everyone will eventually either end up there or stop playing. Id rather the opposite happen.

Cater to NO ONE and let them leave. Im all for making the game better but certain things should not involve splitting the game up for no reason.

Hardcore and default and races are a big enough divide.
