Also even if they say ninja=kick, you can't really see who got which loot in that mess.

If somone uses the term ninja they are being annoying. I actually can't stand these people. I love to make them cry. If i pick up an item and they cry about it i just mock them and laugh.

If you can't stand them, don't play with them. Don't be disrespectful and rude just because you disagree with them, that's exactly what kids do.

Please read my previous comment carefully, and try using your brain&imagination when quoting it.

If it's gonna be cutthroat, and challenging, why do we still have nameplates ? Remove the nameplates, make it pure ffa.

If you put nameplates on, you declare that someone owns that item.If he can't pickup in time because of conditions like high latency, low frame rate, desync, and If that item is taken by someone else that is pure theft, that is gaining advantage from a condition.

You can't promote or defend theft in a game where you interact with actual humans. It will break the groups, therefore the society will perish.

So that's why I'm saying that there should be 2 options.Pure ffa loot groups and Instanced loot groups, this will make everyone happy.

If you make it pure ffa, then noone will be able to claim anything in a group, there will be cutthroat fest, tricks and whatnot like you always wanted.

If you add an instanced loot option, people still wont be able to claim anything so they will focus on gaming and co-operating rather than looting.

But If you do it like the current flawed system, it will only generate chaos, distrust, hatred, drama.Interaction and community will diminish, people will play alone or play with close friends only.

Im pretty sure people of ages do it. Im proof of that :D

I enjoy annoying people that annoy me.. Nothing wrong with that.

I find it funny. Its got nothing to do with my age at all.

Although im starting to take this age crap like a compliment.

Im 30+ years old. I get constantly called a teenager in this. Thanks :D

Besides, you can't ninja in a game with FFA loot.

No... Thats not what kids do.

Just because i play the game the way its meant to be played doesn't make me a jerk or a 12 yr old kid.

If somone uses the term ninja they are being annoying. I actually can't stand these people. I love to make them cry. If i pick up an item and they cry about it i just mock them and laugh.

If somone asks me nicely for the drop i picked up, il give it to them no questions asked.

Im old skool. I don't play this sissy ass cry baby ninja freak out slop these kids play nowadays.

Sorry to all the kids but this guy is right.

Thiers a fine line between what needs to be done and what doesnt.

[Ex. 1]
I have 4 monitors (5680x1080 resolution) and need to adjust my health globe to my center screen because I cant see it on my far left screen. This is something that should be done.

[Ex.2]
I cry about loot because I cant even get my own loot that has a timer on it.
This folks does not need to be adressed. GGG actually has done a decent job here, even thou I would rather it be totally free like Diablo 2 loot.

Example 1 refers to a need. Example 2 refers to a want.

Example 2 usually derives from the same people who used to play Diablo 2 and sit in town when they got hostiled and cry that they were pure 100% scrubs that couldn't hold up.

Example 2 also refers to the kids who turn games into what they are now and days, and that's garbage. The only way a real company will strive to create something that is great is if they dont cater to cry babies who want certain difficult mechanics to be changed. Look what happened to Diablo 3, it was a world of warcraft clone in disguise (all be it not a good disguise, ie. item identification has a cast bar on it, *pure fail*)

Long Story short. Lets address the real issue here and that is we need some information when CutThroat league will be released and if it will be a race or long term event. So that all the players dont waste any more time playing on a league that they will leave anyways.

All we need now with the looting system is a "Go Hostile" button. That way if someone steals your stuff you can simply kill them and take it back. Seems to fit the cut-throat theme to me. =)
"if u point out my narcissism 1 more time i ll report ur ass.
then i ll ignore u."
"you dont play this game and i find no value in your feedbacks. keep your advice to yourself. i ll sure have fun not reading ur comments again."

Path of Exile community in a nutshell.

With no PK, no sort of retaliation to be feared whatsoever.
this is rather an old-elementary school.
which kinda also explains your behaviour throughout this thread.
just another playground for you.

its one thing, if someone is faster than you, and snatches your unique away. it sucks, but basicly you might do so aswell sometime later and get lucky.
this is not what this is all about.
its not about whining, that sometimes you had no luck and sometimes you had better luck,
its about the overall design wish of the devs to have some sort of "loot tension" which got poorly realized in this game.

-if its dependend on the connection performance, and as many posted, its a difference of night and day, it cant be balanced anymore and without it beeing balanced its not about skill or drop awareness; it defies its own purpose.

-this is even more true, if it only affects public parties, which as well overproportional affects casual players with not the pages long friendlists to pick from

-in the end the loot question can be used to create a good healthy, socially friendly gaming experience, helping players to come attached to the game, or it can fail poorly.
this is what we should focus on.

Either the Devs forget about their wish to add "loot tension", in this case, no matter what options are discussed a solution can be found based on the best idea, with the least problems and coding effort related...

OR they dont. In this case its up to find and discuss new ideas about how to get some sort of "loot tension" through player competition balanced and done.

to those all time nobel prize winners and scientists, joining this thread with no effort taken to at least read some of the ideas and the discussion held before:

many of those posting in this thread, actually supported GGG through their microtransactions. its only natural for them to raise questions whether the game is going into the right direction on this particular topic.

unless you spent some real money, i'd urge you to keep your "1337 D2 fanboy" insights to yourself.

Only hackers and scammers can steal you stuff. Items on the ground are not 'your stuff'.

That timer is yours... But onces the timer is gone. Guess what? Its anybodys.

Hence FFA (Free For All)

Although i would love a Hositle button. Just to hostile people who cry about "NINJAS".

Talk about a double whammy..

They cry about someone stealing some random drop on the ground and then get pkd. And cry some more.

:D

Your Example 1 is something that affects virtually nobody. I have 3 monitors on my desk.
For gaming I use 1, because the benefit is neglectable and it always leads to problems. You can do that too. Playing with more than 1 monitor is a "want".

The current loot-system makes public parties undesirable for a large portion of the playerbase. That's a "must not".
I beat cruel, ruthless and merciless and all I got were some maps.

...I've dropped over $200 bucks on my girlfriends account. My only complaint is GGG needs to stop putting out mirco-transactions because shes loves that shit. And i have to always buy it for her. She always gets what she wants, that bitch :D

Bottom line... shaaaaaaad up.
