Why is it that everyone goes straight for how much someone has donated when disagreeing with another on these forums? I never brought such up, it has no effect on my opinion whatsoever, and just makes the accuser look ignorant.

In jest, if you look back and had actually read this thread from the beginning you'd see that I've posted such in jest with different milestones. Unfortunately, I cannot help your aggressive nature to take everything as literal.

You still hadn't answered the question though, why is it that you go straight for someone's support for GGG when it had never been mentioned nor has nothing to do with having an opinion based on feedback? Do you not encourage support for this game?
Because a loot option is just a bad idea IMHO.

Considering so many people seem to not understand that they'll get less loot than solo play in an instanced group setting, I don't really think many of you know what you want.

All that would lead to is the same BS in every other instanced game. There's not enough loot dropping posts, when in fact, tons are dropping.

I still don't see why instanced needs to be less loot than solo. I would like to know other than "Well FFA has less loot so the others need less loot as well".

Even if instanced absolutely has to have less loot just like FFA so what? If that's what people will enjoy then it may as well be available.


To those of you continuing to claim that this is about making the game easier. You don't know what your talking about.

A hidden instanced system is not the only option on the table. The current timer system is instanced in some form. What I expect the devs to do is to make magic and white fully FFA and increase the timer for gear > magic. This change would not change the total number of items dropped on the screen.

IL must AT LEAST provide the same QUANTINY as solo play....(instanced loot to yourself)
believe me if i see a post with loot complain i will rage fight them with no tomorrow..i ONLY solo, i NEVER saw a loot pinata, in fact some ledge/dock/fellshrine runs where FULL blues but i do not care...cause i LIKE farming i JUST NEED company (and no my friend mock me when they see me play PoE..cba to explain them)..

the looting system and the conversetion here is not about the loot itself but for the ENFORCED hostile social pvp element in the PvE experience

edit: NOONE heres wants handholding, free loot in the ground, epix in the mailbox etc...

My personal suggestion is to give a MUCH bigger delay on items which are reserved for you. I would suggest 10 seconds. If someone wants that item and it's given to you (but you don't want it) there shouldn't be a problem for the other guy to wait 10 seconds until he can take it.

Another option would be: COMPLETELY reserve it for the one who has the take-right, but giving this guy the option to UNLOCK the reserved item for everyone. For axample:

- Rare item drops
- The name is written below the item to show "this item is reserved for *Name*"
- The guy who has the take-right can click on the item to take it, or can use strg+click to UNLOCK it for everyone.
- If the guy is NOT interested, other people can ask for unlock or can wait 20 seconds for automatic unlock.

That is PLENTY of time to ensure that the one with the take-right gets his item and still ensures, that EVERYONE has the chance to get it, if the one with the take-right doesn't take or unlock it.


This way everyone can easily get blues and whites (no timers), while the items >magic, which have a timer, have like 20 seconds and the one with take-right can unlock the items for everyone, or just take his item.

Simple as that and it wouldn't reduce the amount of items dropped, it would just change the lootmechanic in terms of "who gets what". Of course, someone that brings more rarity/quantity within the party should have a higher chance of a countdown as someone, who has no rarity/quantity (still he has the chance to get a timer, this chance will just be significantly lower then).

This would just be a fair system and no one can complain, besides all those FFA supporters with no arguments.

me2 lol :p i havent' enter a single group not even for vaal cruel in where i lost my lvl55 shadow...i prefer to start over than to join a group...

but this cant' stop us from pointing the faults of this system (FFA) and ask for a solution..
