Looting -- The official thread for discussing the loot system. Updated 18th March, 2013.

Xaxyx was posting in the thread over 200 pages ago. Probably has a dozen since. He's likely just as informed as anyone else here.

Anyways, if they reduced the timers any more, or eliminated any, they may as well go full FFA. Anything less than what they have now wouldn't have any meaningful effect on who gets what loot.

FFA loots is the big pain of this game.

All the rest is great. Keep up the good work !

Assuming makes an ass our of yourself. I can also say there are a lot of people that are for FFA loot. You just find more people whining on the forums about wanting to change FFA loot because the people who enjoy the current system are playing the game.

Also, there were a ton of people in this thread who support and still support the current system. Read the last 500 pages. Hell, someone even kept count at one point and the people who wanted to keep FFA weren't outnumbered.

Fact: More people wanted change to the loot system than to keep it the same or full FFA. You FFA supporters were outnumbered by a lot. You are the one who should go back and read the thread.

It doesn't come down to numbers of who supports this and who supports that. It comes down to what image GGG wants their game to display and what fits best with the theme.

FFA is simply the way to go for this type of game and I really don't understand why people have so many problems with it. I have played both ranged and melee, managed to do good dps, and still have time to loot what belonged to me. If ever I didn't, who cares? Move on to the next one.. I'll see that alchemy orb that dude sniped from me 10000 more times through the course of my play time.

You get plenty of time to get your designated stuff.. loot it or lose it.
