" I really think you should try to go after builds that you would enjoy. My builds are DEFINITELY not the most optimal but I enjoy the playstyle and I am proud of how I have made them the way that I want. The game will get easier as better and better gear floods the market. If all you want is to be "the best" then by all means make the cheesiest cookie cutter that you can find.... Standard Forever

Looting system in this game is bad.
And lets not bash or even talk about D3, it doesn't have anything to do with this. Sure, current system is probably designed to promote rivalry and cooperation - but it does not do that! It is only discouraging people from playing public games and making people mad! Simple fix like making loot timer 2-3 times longer would be just fine. " Well after I took offense to what you said about me being bad and getting better at the game. I decided to blow all my currency on reworking my bow duelist. Now while I wanted to come in here and bash you for being a hypocrit on being bad and thats why you want an easy loot system. I figured I would just come in here and say "Thank you" for saving my gaming experience. Now I am able to play my character. I dropped the blood magic keystone, went with a BM gem and stacked auras on my MP. I swapped out my WED for Life Leech and now I am balling out of control with a semi unique build. No more LA no more totem dependancy. I have died, but no where near what it was before. Again, I thank you. |

" Since you bring it up and we are in the appropriate thread.... The loot system isn't about difficulty, FFA people only want to make it about difficulty to sound like they have an argument. Its only annoying in public games becuase its the only way to play which is why its a stupid system. Its basically saying "hey you will have a much better experience with no compeitition if you stay away from public games and just do private games with friends". That has nothing to do with difficulty. Its about public games only being available for one playstyle. If you want a smooth "easier" experience thats already available for you in the form of private games, so how is this issue about difficulty? Its not. Its about a large chunk of the playerbase avoiding public games because it only caters to one playstyle. Edit: and as sickness was quick enough to point out below I don't see the logic in you nearly rage quitting over game difficulty but also trying to point at looting options people as wanting the game to be easier. There's actually quite a few things wrong with instanced loot.
1) slower progression. 2). People think drop rates are too low 3). Leeching is still a problem. |

" What a nonsense! 1, what is the problem with this? Even if slower progression is "bad for the game" the devs could increase droprates 2, valid point. People will experience the same loot as less 3, Is this really a con argument??? The loot system is not about reduce leeching, its about the itemzerging. |
