Looting -- The official thread for discussing the loot system. Updated 18th March, 2013.

I wouldnt mind seeing PIckup radius upped a bit so body blocking of items isn't an issue and maybe bump the base up to 1.5 instead of the 1 second. I disagree with instanced loot but I also think the current system could use some work. I just need to find 5 people who arent d-bags to party with.

I was not commenting on the loot system, I was commenting on the community. This thread has hundreds of examples of people saying that either FFA or Instanced looting is badwrongfun and that Path of Exile will suck if the other option is AT ALL left in the game. This is not the only thread this has happened in, either.

Group play is just not fun because of ninjas. Please change to full allocated loot.

For those who don't know.

When picking up items on the ground just click and hold it. Don't keep clicking the item.


If you click and hold it you will pretty much force your way through any so called blocking.



I actually got kicked from a game for NOT having any problems picking up loot by people trying to block me.. Which is kind of funny.

You just have to commit to it with a single click and hold.

Actual looting is easier for ranged because of this.

This is why i kind of laugh at any ranged players complaining about NOT getting drops..
