I absolutely hate FFA looting, it actually makes me not want to party at all and that's a real shame. I don't play ARPGs to snipe loot off the ground mid fight, but that's exactly what I have to do if I want upgrades. Diablo III made a lot of mistakes but everyone having their own loot was not one of them. FFA looting is a dated design and a lot of people hate it, but if you must use it at least increase the timer on rare items.

I just lost an unique shoes because of the 2 sec count time! No more party!

So here I am playing with some randoms. Some golden orbs drop; they're not my loot. I refrain from scooping them; that is the way of the gentleman.

Later, a rare sword drops for me. Imagine my joy, my glee--my ultimate dismay! Apparently, not everyone lives by the Code of the Gentleman.

.....I hate FFA as much as I love this game. I am head-over-heels for PoE. Mend my broken heart GGG :(.

How about an option to just see my loot drop, everyone else can still my loot drop, just makes it easier for me to pick up my loot but FA still in play. Hate it when you kill a boss and i cant see all my loot that drops cus of the mass loot.

I honestly like the non instanced loot in a way, it does add more player interaction. I just wish the timer was longer. With the current lag and desyncs going on you can end up clicking and not pick it up until a couple seconds later, letting someone who isnt desyncing pick it right up :/

If anything, rares and uniques should get at least a couple seconds longer.
