I've played with my friends and most of the time (especially when lots of items drop) the timer goes out before we can clearly see who it's allocated to, and then we end up arguing who gets what. And that's not good.
In random FFA, there's only one choice, click click click or leave with nothing.

Flawed argument is flawed ..is if you don't like current FFA system..yet you are playing multiplayer game and you have no friends online..you can just suck it up? Stupid became even more stupid..

If so many people are defending it, then why not add the option? If a LOT of people are defending the system, then they will sure continue to play FFA. If they turn to instanced loot then I would question their initial opinion in the first place.

"Loot options"? I like things how they are and would not welcome the change. Don't get me wrong, I rage when someone picks my yellow, but it makes the revenge all the sweeter when someone's exalt drops and I take it.
For all the people that would like to have their name written on the loot, I just don't see why they don't play solo or with people they know.

Having it both ways makes perfect sense for me.
Play single player -> get less XP and less loot
Play single player 6boxed -> get same XP and same loot as groups, but immense higher difficulty and no comfort of 5 players helping you killing monsters.

GGG has been very good about listening to player feedback. The game is in BETA it is foolish to think that it will not change.
Nope they aren't wrong, atm it's just the wrong people trying the game. As soon those are gone the game will be fine and fun.
Adjust the timer maybe or even hide other players loot as long the timer is running and it should be enough.

again..WHY..please..WHY you are against loot options? It's not like someone will get your favorite think away from you.. FFA loot option will be still here..and you can play it in your way with other players who like it that way..People enjoy games differently ..and instanced loot doesn't provide any advantages..it has own disadvantages too..but if people want it that way? why not??

In business.there are not wrong customers.. they are just customers..I guarantee GGG care about them..they don't want them to leave.. they already said it three times..they are discussing other options.. They mentioned it everytime on different places..changes will be made..but we just don't know how drastic it will be. They are in though position tbh..they had their own vision and many many people don't agree with it.. it's always very hard to go against own vision and against what you considered the best for the game..so they have to think about something, what will keep their vision and make these "whiners" happy.
