I've addressed that already, this wont be a problem for the soloing people since they are already familiar with those solo drop rates.
Those playing and liking ffa will not play instanced so they wont have a problem either.

So, I assume that all of these people complaining about FFA loot never took someone's loot ever? I mean EVER. If you claim no, you're lying. Everyone has greed, I take stuff that dropped for my friends and they take stuff that dropped for me. It evens out in the end. I agree with the developers, this game isn't supposed to be fair and I personally like it that way.
It just looks to me that everyone seems very entitled because this is what they want.
You can apologize for calling me a liar in advance. I dont ninja loot. If an item without my name drops and that person didnt see it I pick it up, walk up to them and drop it at their feet.
If mobs/bosses are cleared and none of the items have my name on it I instantly move forward before the timer is up and start tanking the next pack for the party. I dont even consider thinking about hovering over the loot. Like I said, I just run to the next pack.
Uh huh. Like I believe that. Why would you drop it at their feet if you're in a party? Wouldn't you do the safe thing and trade it to them?
What you need to understand is that even though it has their name on it, doesn't mean it's theirs. It's simply giving them reserved time to try to pick it up. Loot is still FFA, loot that drops belongs to no one. So you've really just been passing up loot that could have been yours.
I move that GGG doesn't show who the loot is giving reserved time to, just remove the name from the timer. No more of this "that was mine!" bullshit.

Because no one else was close to them? And if someone started running up to "their" loot I would have just picked it up and traded. (Hint: I said "*their name* you missed loot." They stopped and I dropped it) If you read any of my previous posts you prolly could have concluded I know how the loot system works and what its intentions are. You can just keep dismissing me as a confused, lying player though. I dont mind.

Hi I like this game much. But who damn it can develop such stupid loot system. You are completly insane about it everyone is stoling items "everyone"!!! Never met any player who take my item and then give it to me (Thing that i do reguralarly) And when I wrote them they disconected. When boss dropped around 30 items its imposible to orient in the mess around and when you orient you click item and unexpectedly other player picked it. And what if loot is dropped behind the wall its imposible to go over it and pick it.
So this is things thats anoy me most. Please do something about it this supposed to be multiplayer game.

You would get more solo than in a group. You didn't address anything.

Not great english but I get that. It's bad that you also don;t get to pickup items because you can't see them for all the white junk. A UI option to hide white junk would be quite cool :)
Still doesn't solve the real issue (IMHO) that the loot system isn't as good as it could be. I say shared whites and blues, but private rares, uniques, gems. You could have an option so others could see those items but not be able to scoop them up. this would allow players to know what others had so they could trade if they wanted to.
Anyway it doesn't take a rocket scientist to fix this, hopefully GGG will do so.

Oh hai again every1!
Back with a new idea!
I hope you like it!
What about this:
1) All loot is always visible to all players.
2) Cool loot is assigned to individual players (Shows with name, but no timer).
3) Each player can pick up any item.
4) Any time an item is picked up by another player, the assignee recieves a notification on the side of the screen like a Gem Level Up.
5) The notification has two buttons: "Allow" and "Reclaim".
6) "Allow" dismisses the notification with no effect.
7) "Reclaim" adds the item to your inventory, or drops it on the ground near you (or is destroyed if you are in town, since that's the thing that happens there).
8) In the Player Settings, you can toggle "Automatically Allow Allies to Claim Any Loot" and "Automatically Reclaim any Assigned Loot".

That sounds pretty awesome.

As i said before.
If GGG is going to cave into the complainers and make instanced loot
It should be a simple check box at the charatcer select screen. Which can only be toggled on and off at the character select screen.
With it checked ON you now only get loot based off single player rewards which only that player can see.. You will no longer get party rewards for loot. But you will still get party EXP .
Simple as that really.
Why not keep the ratio of loot dropped the same (the multiplayer bonus) but divide your "loot time/drops" by the number of players? So if 6 players are in the game everyone still gets the bonus for a big party its just you only see 1/6th of the drops.
They could up the bonus a bit more for FFA to reward the cutthroat players and remove the timers or keep the timers how they are now to assist ranged. This would double as incentive for players to friend players and build relations for the increased loot (cuz friends wont hoover everything on eachother so everyone shares in the extra bonus) Or just allow FFA to become a hoarder meta game for those who enjoy it in pub games.
Why complicate things? I mean seriously, everyone here asking for changes comes up with the most complicated and weird changes.. Its almost too funny.
My idea is easy.
Don't like FFA loot then choose to not be a part of it...at all.
You get instanced loot but you get NO party reward for loot. Party EXP bonus stays the same.
Also, with the above option now availble GGG can just remove the loot timers and let it be a real FFA loot.
