FFA is an archaic system which promotes the use of auto-click/auto-looting programs/bots. If the system are here to stay in public games just for the so-called 'cut throat feel' then i would just avoid pubs but its totally a waste of time in private games where we have to spend more time figuring whose loot was it becos we were focusing on killing or when a huge number of drops just burst out from a large chest & not to mention misclick.
Oh well, worst case scenario just leave the game there are plenty of other games out there or coming soon :)

Is there any reason to enjoy FFA besides the one where you just want to deny a loot from your teammates?
Remember that FFA loot doesn't exist in solo, nor if a friendly game where you play with your friends and share the loot like normal and civilised people who want everyone to enjoy their time.
So, explain why trying to screw over some random dudes in a co-op playstyle is enjoyable, unless you're a thief/ninja-looter/jerk?
....I don't have that kind of perception when it comes to FFA looting so i can't really answer it.
To me.
In public games, its just a war zone of battles followed by a feeding frezy on items after the battle.
Sometimes i get nothing and sometimes i score big.
I find that fun..
I don't waste time thinking about enititlement, thiefs, ninjas and all that garabage because i know the rules.
playing an arpg for feeling pvp-competition, and you (and your few friends) say to us were in the wrong game, wtf

Except that in most games, it's not what you describe. The frenzy on items occurs during the battle.
For me, it's not about entitlement to anything more than my fair share. I get no joy out of getting less than that, nor do I get any joy from getting more than that. That is what I find fun.
If the game were to offer a non-FFA OPTION, then I could have my fun, and you could still have yours, no?
Agreed.
Coming from Diablo III, WoW, GW2, etc....its a known rule to not loot during fights....its BM and can hurt the group substantially. In this game, that rule doesnt exist.

The war you're talking about just happens during the looting part, after a battle (or even DURING the battle, with monsters still trying to murder you, which is kinda dumb).
It's really weird to expect people to play together during battles, and suddenly try to screw everyone in order to get this shiny item that just dropped from a monster... and then become best friends few seconds after.
It's just like... I don't know... " We defeated this monster! Good job fellow teammates! But now I'm going to betray you all... But we can be best friends after and continue our adventure, right? :3".

I see your point. But really, if the item is on the ground then its open season.
FFA loot is like a open food buffet. If someone chooses to eat cake before the main course its not a big deal. Its not like its the last supper, no one has to wait around waiting for Jesus to break bread before digging in.
If you need freinds to play with how about add me. Im more then willing to share anything with you that would help your current build.
