I'm still not getting it why people are feeling entitled to get items. FFA means the loot belongs to all party members and not to you personally. If you want the item, click it? GGG even implemented timers so you have a chance to pick up items if you or your computer or whatever is slow.

This.

There is no "your loot". There is only FFA loot.

Then why does the timers of loot get denounced in a players names? Can you explain that?

You know, this issue has me about pissed off enough to write a guide to taking full advantage of FFA. It is without a doubt the most exploitable piece of garbage ever stuck in a multiplayer game. As I stated earlier, it is a masterpiece of antisocial engineering.

boohoo waahaa. FFA loot is FFA loot.

so another FFA defenders admits that FFA system is unfair in some cases cause it "blocks" a certain type of gameplay (i.e. ranged)

seriously....

life is unfair. but that's what makes it just that much more satisfying when you finally achieve something.

but what would insta-gratification wow-kiddies aka. casuals understand

too bad for you that games are NOT real life simulators....

you are ignorant and mad sorry bro to break your teenager bubble....you do not know what life is

Yes, me wanting some reward...that doesnt require avoiding game mechanics (a.k.a team fights) is insta-gratification. Congratulations, I lost IQ reading your post.

What "team fights" are you talking about? It's everyones loot until you or someone else picks it up. Get a skill that gets you to the loot fast if you care about that so much.

You're slow? Tough luck. Get faster or stay lootless.

lets say that yet another time

FFA brought timers (means that the unfairness of ffa brought the timers to "ease" it)
and NOT the other way around...

lets do not explain the question

Have you never played wow, or you just buy into the hype that people spout out, there is no instant gratification in WoW, This game there is they you can share drops even take a Rare or better item and give it to a friend after you have worn it. In wow, you do raids and you hope just hope that some how the leader of the raid well allow you to get that item or that the dice will roll in your favor.

People who say "insta-gratification" must have never played wow end game. Try playing that game for years and doing a dungeon over and over again, just to have the raid leader accidently give an item to the wrong person(before they put that 10 min timer loot share thing). They can't just give it to you like in this game.

TBH? I don't know, it should be full FFA.
Maybe they want to compensate just a little bit for the slowpokes.

I play ranged and have no problem getting to my loot.

Try getting past an ice wall...that a teamate decides to block you from loot or 'push you away from it' instead of using it on the enemy.

If theres one area GGG needs to look into is the way players can block others from picking up loot.

Maybe increase the distance needed to pick up items.

I've yet to see anyone spam ice wall for loot. Its safe to say any player who does that would get kicked or players would just leave his game.

Yes I have played wow and I know the majority type of player that plays wow. In fact wow vanilla was pretty good. After that -> downhill. Why? Casualization aka. Noobification aka. Mainstreaming.
