Developer video on the new skill tree

Looking at this tree my blood magic shadow will no longer be possible :(
I hope at least you made Blood Magic support more useful?!

The Blood Magic passive has moved since that video, but may not be in the right place.

Your character will not currently be supported by the tree as it stands.

Blood Magic for Shadow is not exactly a popular choice, but I might find one and give it a spin, and see what the build is like.

While I make no guarantee, I'll see what we can do!

Some builds will be lost with this change, but we certainly don't want to have awesome builds removed if we can avoid it.

I'm glad I didn't have coffee in my mouth when I saw that picture.
First impression while watching the video:
Not enough connections between *clusters*
Too many *highways* that require to step on +10 stat nodes
My personal goal is to make 70 pts builds with less than 20 +10 stat nodes

Could you add the new tree as a second (until Monday) planning tool on the website? Please? /emote doggy eyes ^^

seriously guys the skilltree is better right now... alot of build will be lost and this skilltreee have a greatly loss in "customization"... everybody can notice this.
Now witches are witches and marauders and marauders and stop, end of the fun.

totally with it
Why don't we try it out before deciding it doesn't work in ways we'd like it to?

I am not in favor nor against it, on the contrary.
Before we actually test it, this all speculation...

:)
It'd actually be nice to get the passive tree up on this site before the patch is released. (When it's finalized, of course.) Gives people time to try to rebuild their characters after the reset, and allows them to jump back into action sooner.
Qarl, I'm slightly concerned about the [even] spread of charges around the starting area of characters. It might be very difficult to make a good discharge build.

Of course, I need access to the passive skill tree to be certain but from what I've seen from stop-go analysis of your video, grabbing more than 2-3 Charge passives might require way too many skill points to be effective, especially if you only go for one type of charge!

PS: Would it be a good idea to put some of the charge passives on the outer highway?
