We should talk about a possible League restart

Can't buy mirriors anymore so cannot play as well, that's how it work.

This would be usefull information if divines were acquired by farming them. But the average player does not get a lot of divines by farming them. They get them by selling stuff.

This means: if divs are worth less because of inflation you will need more to buy stuff. But you also will get more by selling stuff. For the average player who doesnt farm divs this is a non issue. Funny enough only the poeple who farm divs by running the temple get screwed over because the divs they farm are worth less every day. The average player who sells stuff to get divs is not affected at all.

Not really, no.

The average player will find it very difficult to afford bases and crafting materials to participate in the trade economy, so they will rely mostly on whatever they drop, without a party / aurabot and certainly without or with minimal rarity gear.

This economy is completely screwed, exploiters managed to implode it to the point of no return. It only doesn't affect SSF and maybe HC (no idea about the latter).

tbh the average player probably stopped playing.

I am OK with a restart. However, what about the people who actually spent time and effort forming their temples to farm for the rest of the league?

I'd rather have them make it much easier to create a perfect setup (undo the changes maybe or let us handpick the rooms since the league will be dead in a month for PoE 1 league anyway) and announce that nothing will be nerfed for the rest of the league unless it effects server performance.

That would remove the FOMO, the economy would be stabilized by itself since alternative stuff such as omens, essences, boss uniques would increase in value.

About the people who have already farmed a ton of currency... Let's be honest here. None of us had any chance of competing with them anyway. They simply put much more time in the game than any of us "complaining" about the economy.
restart would effect those of us who earned currency the right way...so no to restart.
So, have people completely forgot the idea that this is Early Access? Or are they just throwing that phrase in to defend GGG when they don't even try to fix any bugs?

In other words; the whole EA business was a total scam, and the whole time GGG have been treating this game as paid 1.0 launch, except that now they have an excuse to release what ever unfinished crap they want, and forget it until the next league. And they also half killed PoE1 at the same time.

Congratulations I guess. This goes well with the "enshittification" phrase that plagues everything in internet now.
