I'm going to be honest with you guys, this might not be a the game for you.
There is this program call Excel Spreadsheet. You can pretend to be a big time day trader there at no cost.
Can we have an ARPG now? Where items I might USE drop... anything other than this sad sad replication of a market where people hang self value on fictional currency... I mean dollars already do that we need a simulator for it?
Completely agree. GGG should not waste energy to fix the economy. The best outcome would honestly be if there was no relevant economy at all. Changing the game to a degree where getting drops and crafting yourself is the best way to acquire good gear should be the goal.
To be honest, i would be fine with making currency account bound. Than this whole economy drama would be over alltogether.

I wish this game would be like that. But dropped Loot has only so much value.
Getting actually rare stuff requires a lot grind. Time many many people dont have. I could grind 100 hours trial of chaos and still not get the adorned i need.
Or getting a temporalis is really hard. And also requires a lot of Sekhema grind.
Or getting lineage gems.
POE2 is a game desigend aroudn trade. The droprates are often so low that you might never get the necessary stuff.
That doesnt mean you cant paly the game without it, but the game does not respect your time. If you woudl do everything your own its a long long grind.

Looking at the price of mirrors is like judging how many puddings you can afford on your weekly shopping trip compared to luxury yachts. Irrelevant.

Its a metric. It doesnt matter if you can afford or not. if a yacht suddenly costs 200 mio Euro instead of 100 mio Euro. There is either inflation in play or the Company behind the yacht gets greedy. If its Inflation your weekly shopping trip also gets more expensive. Its all connected.
Dont look at it in a void. It doesnt exist in a void.
And as i explained before. A higher Demand for Mirrors can also mean that the currency you normally would pay for it is so worthless that you go to a higher currency.

Right but then we are not even seeing or playing half the content, just paying someone else to. It's actually the opposite of playing and enjoying the game. SSF balanced properly would fix this and it would be the only thing I ever played.

Im making a suggestion here. For me its mostly fine that the economy is how it is. But i think it would be good for the whole community. Thats why i made that thread.

Not really, it's not a matter of type of farming it's a matter of end game farming. I think power fantasy usually dictates stuffing the big bads no? So why is better to sell my keys because I didn't pick the broken build? That just sucks all around.
