Is PoE2 even PoE?

Jonathan very clearly dislikes POE1. He has only ever brought it up in interviews to point out the "mistakes" that were made.
He is hell-bent on doubling down on slow movement, power/generators, and everything else antithetical to what POE1 players enjoy. |

" Oh boy you've missed a lot with the first leagues during 2013/2014 topping the current league by miles in terms of "lowest effort" This league is actually pretty decent, aside of the slightly dry endgame. But we always had up and downs with leagues even way before PoE2 was a think so I don't know what you're onto with your theory. Flames and madness. I'm so glad I didn't miss the fun.
