Content Update 0.3.0 — Path of Exile 2: The Third Edict
The one part I am worried is the max block nerf. 75-> 50 % is not a slight nef. It is a reduction of 33%. Also the base block of all shields went down SO much that I see very few people caring for passive block at all. Block will be mostly active or nothing.

" I second this. Yes, it's annoying when your favorite flavor of the month gets nerfed, but remember this is EA and even in non EA, these things happen. It sucks but it will happen again. So better accept the reality. But looking at the big picture, this patch looks great. I'm surprised there's no LS Huntress nerfs when a lot of folks are crying about it. I guess it does not matter to me since I don't follow the Tangletounge whatever copy-paste builds. |

Support mtx works both for poe1&2?
In order to get rid of clearspeed meta cap global movement speed at 100% but make all skills instant so everything feels great.

The amount of rants from players who actually can't see anything further than their previous build is alarming. Can't have a full picture of the changes and their synergies.
- Unlimited use of support gems IS a huge baseline buff. - We don't have the detail of the support gems yet, but the new tiers can introduce the needed scaling in the end game. - The cryers about their T4 Build costing 1d, please... - Lineage support gem is an actual end game buff - We don't have the passive tree changes yet, but we could see some interesting new wheels and keystones. - Many skills works better between each others. Basically the patch note covers the specific balance changes, and lean toward nerfs. But the baseline buff makes it all to be an overall buff. And for those who complains about Optimization changes. It's not mentionned in the patchnote, but it is actually coming in 0.3 and it's big. ( source interview) It's an amazing Patch. I'm okay to stop playing LS, at the benefit of wanting to try many new ideas. Last edited by SeeThat#0135 on Aug 21, 2025, 6:38:37 AM

" This probably affects more players who are more invested in PoE1 but new players or those players who are less emotionally attached to PoE 1 are probably happy to see this patch. I like this patch btw. I like the offline trade, but hopefully we get to the point where I don't have to alt tab to a web site. But this is good progress. I don't subscribe to the idea where because MY BUILD got nerfed in the next patch, the game sucks. It sucks for me but that doesn't mean it sucks for the game and everyone. |

Note to a eventually Typewrite Failure
"The base damage scaling of all player spell and secondary damage skills has been tweaked to scale better in the late game. Generally speaking, spells that do not have damage number changes called out below will have near-identical base damage at low levels, roughly 5% more damage at gem level 20, and roughly 20% more damage at gem level 30." i think it should be at Level 10 and 20, right ? |

Can we make Rhoa Mount mountable on all weapon types not just Spears and Bows?
Please? |

This an underwhelming block of text with no real changes nor real content in it.
The way skills feel man, a lot of them don't feel good, yet we still keep 1s+ cast time and forced movement when using them. Instead of fixing the crafting system with ingenuity and depth, we get 3 different tiers if basic currency. Instead of getting 2 acts we get 2 acts but 1 is not an act, but its about the same size of an act, so they coul've just do an act. We get no real changes to the endgame, which is the most lackluster part of the game. Still 0 agency on what the player does or not. But hey, we can sprint after we dodgeroll so the incredibly big areas don't feel as big. |
