Five Weeks into 0.2.0, POE2 is Down 93.2% Players All Time & 83.9% from Patch Launch
" What is the long list of major improvements for 0.2? |

33k for a mid patch I would say is pretty good. Everyone was praising LE and it has worse numbers so....

" The game was hovering around 20-30k at the end of 0.1 life-cycle. It now having basically the same numbers so soon after 0.2 is out is uhh.. not very good. It means literally everybody left for other, more fun things. |

" I'm not coming back unless: 1) Auction House implemented 2) XP penalty removed 3) Mobs are appropriately balanced 4) Loot...useful loot...actually drops. 5) Skills are appropriately balanced 6) Defenses reach a state of 'pick 2' as opposed to 'pick ES' So guess I'll be back somewhere between 2 years and never. |

"Well yeah, theres a ton of new games that are out and this is an early access game. I wouldn't expect people to be sticking around when this patch was pretty rough and added no new content. |

" The whole post was judgemental and derisive towards those you don't agree with. Lets take someone saying "REMOVE SEKHIMA!" Well there is a reason they are saying that. Clearly immense frustration with what was an EXTREMELY UNPOPULAR league mechanic in POE1. Its almost like GGG selected the WORST ideas they have ever had and said "lets make these mandatory." As a result average players like me have never gotten that 4th ascendancy and that drives people out of the game. In POE1, Trial of the Sekhimas is a league mechanic called Sanctum and the other trials mechanic is called Ultimatum. Both were never touched until end game and required highly specialized builds and were generally hated as league mechanics. The problem here is that you aren't willing to accept the feedback of people who dislike major parts of POE2. You want accept it so everyone that has that feedback is "emotional" and that makes it easy to dismiss the feedback without even considering it. Those that debate you are perceived as hostile. Trust me support probably reads all my posts at this point, if I said anything hostile they would remove it. But I do my best to stay within the rules. The players taking the time to post, usually before leaving, wish that the game wasn't like that and thus want it to succeed. And for every one of those there are probably 10 that don't bother and just silently leave because they don't want to deal with what the other posters went through. Then when someone says, "Oh I stink at the game? OK lets see a video of how you do it." You consider that hostile. No its simply the fact that people state opinions that they cant support with fact. If someone could take the cold huntress and make her sing, we would have already seen the video posted to that thread. I would be willing to bet a few people silently tried and thought, dang that dude was on target! The reality is you cant make it work with skills that are obviously intended to work together. The build is slow and not because it is built wrong but because that is the decision GGG has made. They see that cold huntress that you say "you must be missing damage" and think "nope, that's exactly how we want it to go for the player." My point then is to address that GGG decision. That this slog doesn't enhance the game, it makes it ... well ... most likely a massive financial failure. |

It's just the cycle. I'm giving it until the next patch to give it another go. Don't need to play every patch. You'll see huge uptick on 0.3.0 or something similar. They have the algo down on releasing things.
With the release of Oblivion Remastered you can expect millions of potential players are currently elsewhere. lol. |

Everybody can see the player numbers, how useless the trading, and the ssf too. The full endgame is pointless and worthless.
Its just really sad, some players still say the game in the good direction, and the vision not that bad. |

" I am pretty sure that, if they care, GGG sees the numbers also. If 3.26 drops we are going to see POE1 explode and a LOT of people are going to try it and think "WTF? This is fun and 2 isnt!!!" |
