It's a Regional Ban. I've checked the connections, used VPN and saw that I could connect to server. (even played a little) Basically, you cannot connect to server from Russia, Turkey or whichever country has a localized version of the game. Unfortunately, you can't play the game until you move to a different country or use a VPN.

Bullshit. I'm not going to play on so-called localized servers.

Eww what. And then they'll keep adding more 'localized' and keep segregating people. Well guess I won't bother downloading, tho I'm probably not affected, who the heck is gonna localize for this shithole, but its horrible practice.
I really dislike when f2p games put their microtransactions behind a login wall.

I've read this from their devs:
"
We will be using the Free-to-play model (F2P) with microtransactions. Now, I know what some may be thinking. Actually, many of us in development have previously worked in other gaming companies that pushed more of a pay-to-win model, which we’re determined to pull away from. In City of Steam, items you can purchase with social currency will be for aesthetic features, convenience and earlier access to extra content, which free players can still access with enough effort; the general idea is that everyone can get a chance at getting the best of items without limiting them to paying players only.

... but that doesn't tell me what they're actually doing.

Anyone in the know?
you guys might not be able to play but i am thankfully, been plaqying quite a bit of this and this game is dope...
