Lets be real, game asked for bad reviews.

i dont read anything you type honestly, you try to pass yourself off as one of the rational people while saying get good scrub. its not a good look.

You probably should read it. I was agreeing with you that "get good scrub" is not always the answer. However, it CAN be the answer if the issue is 100% a skill issue.

When game released in December, hype was unreal.
People came, people played.
Complaints were made.
Improvements were promised.

Very small ammount of issues, that really bothered people in 0.1 was fixed.

So who is the main villain in this company.
Dude, comon. Make a stream were you play trials. Sekhema and Chaos. Play until you reach finish. But not once but multiple times. I want you to feel how time consuming they are. Do it.
Play maps t15/16 get oneshotted by some random mob. I wanna see your face when it happens, i really do.
Get rect by boss oneshots.
Get on stream, show us how you play your own game.

I thought i am the only one, who was upset with the game.

You cannot position a game to masses which is made for small hardcore community.
You cannot give hardcore people a product for the masses.

Can you choose what exactly do you want to present to the community? You cant be that blind to a fact, that your game is being penetrated from both sides by hardcore and casual players. You cant have both, but if you want, look at the threads.

Choose already which it will be.

i'd tune in for a stream to watch the devs run fresh SSF characters.

This is one of the better responses I’ve read in a while. You nailed the core issue: PoE2 lost the plot trying to please everyone. Vision drift, mixed messaging, alienating both sides—agreed.

But your line about OP? Yeah… that ain’t it.

Their frustration is valid, but their post goes off the rails the moment it starts swinging at people instead of the design. Once you go down the “who’s the villain,” “I wanna see your face when you die” road, any point you had just gets tossed out.

You didn’t need to co-sign that.
You made the better argument—because you kept it about the idea, not the person.

I can follow your point. I extrapolated the good and failed to nuance the bad. Point taken.

The point from OP I was alluding to as good was specifically that the design decisions lack a clear direction due to trying two please two audiences with juxtaposing desires. Specifically the last two paragraphs. I don't agree with everything but failed to make that clear.
As I said elsewhere, SPLIT PoE2 :

Use graphic engine and some of the news idea to update PoE1 and run it in Live service.

Use the new more slow and "meaningfull combat" and revamped class and skill gems into a MMORPG, get lost of the endless endgame and trade economy, and work on an Act/DLC system with regular release of new content.

There is two game here, stop trying to make them co-exist as you have the public and material for both !
