Lets be real, game asked for bad reviews.
See herein lies the problem. I was herald stacking didnt stop me from dying but my pathetic casual self was having a great time. There is an elite caste of players that wants to be associated with POE2 being a hard core game and players like me are to be cast aside GIT GUD..I dont belong here LOL.
Isnt HC meant for them? I thought the soft in SC was meant for a casual player like myself. Why jack up softcore with cares of pleasung the indivudual playing in the wrong difficulty system but at same time are too chickenshit to actually play HC? Instead punish the masses that are playing in the proper difficulty system. Last edited by rhalbhub#0570 on Apr 23, 2025, 2:59:09 PM

I think what is starting to bite GGG is that they assumed the POE2 players are the same players that they groomed into tolerating or even accepting jank from POE1. But with 3x as many people playing 0.1 and many POE1 players not liking POE2 for various reasons i think it's save to say that there is only partial overlap.
The god awful trade system in particular and balancing the whole game around it i don't think will fly. I think a lot of the things that people now really notice that bothers them boils down to some poor game design decissions that were made around balancing the trade economy/income. Imho people would be much more forgiving about things like move speed, getting one shotted etc if the base of the game was in a better spot with regards to loot and progression. And even all the server issues and disconnects are problems related to wanting to make a (mostly) singleplayer game around an online economy. |

And why would they stream how they play their own game? What's the deal with such requests?
Trials are as fast as how Labyrinth is in Path of Exile 1, end of story. First game only has additional items that help you move a bit faster in terms of labyrinth completion time + some 3rd party tool to help you navigate it, you take those away is literally same thing. They stated clearly that they won't deviate from the core identity of what makes Path of Exile what it is. Asking for certain changes that clearly break that, simply, won't happen. Or, if such changes are to be implemented they won't be purely how community wanted them, but rather in Path of Exile's fashion. At the eve of the end

" Because playing non-meta/slow/methodical doesnt mean we want to start from level 1 because we died. You expect to cruise through the game with ease when that's not what PoE2 is about, enjoying the intended design or "vision" doesn't mean you're an hardcore player, at all. All I see since 0,2 is people that had meta build that got destroyed, so now they complain on the forum and threaten to play LE. I mean...okay, PoE2 is just not for you then and there's always PoE1 which has 10 years worth of content. Tech guy Last edited by Warrax#2850 on Apr 23, 2025, 4:42:22 PM

I admit Trial of Sekhemas sucks. But other than that I am having fun.

" Wrong, clearly you understand nothing about PoE but that's about what I expect from tourist gamers who hopped into this EA. The game hasn't had content in over a year, its playerbase has been stuck in purgatory. The problem is that people literally cannot play PoE 1 because the devs abandoned it. Next time, do a bit of research before saying pointless things like "this game isn't for you, you always have poe 1". Why do you think people are so mad about PoE 2? |

" Don't you think PoE has enough content? I think more content doesn't necessarily make the game better. Maybe PoE 2 was the right step there. |

" What "content"??? It hasn't had a league since settlers lmao If PoE 1 was still getting a league every 3 months I wouldn't care about this joke of a """game""" called PoE 2. |

" Why does PoE 1 need more content? |
![]() |
" Both PoE1, PoE2 and modern ARPGs are league based live service games. The new content is the only reason people continue to play them for years. If the goal is an immersive and challenging story mode, then it would never be a free to play game as there is limited replay value in that model. Although there have been games that buck that trend, and maybe that is what GGG wants. However, if they intend to sustain the game through OPTIONAL micro transactions and supporter packs then there will be inevitable content creep. |
