“The Mobs Are Too Fast!”—No, You’re Doing It Wrong

🛑 Step 4: The Dodge Button Is Free, Use It 🛑
It’s off cooldown. Always. That’s your “I have a brain” keybind. Use it.

Don’t tank hits you can avoid. Dodge = survival.

If you’re surrounded? That’s on you, not the mobs. Mobility is meta.

This one has always bugged me with ppl claiming how impossible it is to avoid literally anything. JUST DODGE. watch whats going on around. what is storming u or in case of bose fights, what mechanics happen. u can literally dodge nrly all boss mechanics in campaign and on maps.
it espec bugs me by ppl claiming its impossible to get out of the water hag bubble. are u srs?

They lower the impact of magic find, i think they forget to balance drop rates during campain.

what do u mean? during campaign exalts drop consisntenly and i got 1 divine in act 3 normal even. was having barely any mf on gear during campaign.

Now apply your funny guide on CC when you're rolling in circles in ritual or forced to breach through walls with your forehead chasing the spirit or any other mechanic in existance lmao. Very funny post overall, especially the 'crafting' part.

We call this prejudice. Judging too early. "I put this label on this object, it MUST conform to my label". I don't view PoE 2 as an ARPG. Sometimes I look at it as a roguelike, sometimes I look at it as an RTS, I will look at it in whatever angle I need to get the results I want.

Name it whatever if it didn't have path of exile on the name it would have 2k player tops.
This game is pretty faithful to Diablo II's vision - the pioneer. The mobs in that game were relentless. The flayers, the bone fetishes. Hell, you were hit with really fast mobs you had no choice but to interact with by the Cold Plains and the Dark Woods. Maybe this new generation of pro gamers aren't old enough to remember the game responsible for this genre existing... and yet these experts want to tell you what the right way of doing things is. GGG definitely got themselves in a tough spot trying to appeal to both crowds here
TLDR, i agree with the title
problem isnt necessarily that monsters are fast, players are just extremely slow as there is barely anything in the game increasing movementspeed

Aren't we tryna be super slow and uber methodical? Can't remember anything slow or methodical in D2, tsk tsk tsk, not faithful, not faithful.

Not really, honestly. The option is there to be methodical, but you don't really have to. The pace doesn't feel any different in POE2 as it did in D2 other than if you went sorceress or had Enigma on your character

If Blizzard had the tools back then to create a game like POE2, I would put my money on them doing so. Even if they did, there wouldn't be a computer in sight capable of playing it.

now create 10 characters and tell me how many of them got divines in campaign? I played 4 characters so far and none of them dropped a divine in campaign

I don't know if you are very smart or very stupid. I need to break +200 rare items just for the investment I spent on my maps. Where is the logic in this?
Hello Jonathan, nice try!
