Every answer Jon has given has been rational and well thought out, and his chat is basically just spamming "umadbro?!?!".

It's clear what Jon/Mark want this game to be, and are doing their best to make concessions to players who are mad at things because for the most part, they are too lazy to do. Too lazy to learn mechanics, too lazy to pick up and salvage gear for whetstones and sockets, too lazy to use the vendor or just farm in general. They hit the tiniest wall and immediately it's "this game is shit" instead of actually putting in some time to adapt.

Like I'm not saying the game is perfect, but it is nowhere in the terrible state these drama queens and apparently Ziz with his ridiculous pompous tone believe it to be. I'd never do an interview with him again if I were them, every word out of his mouth has such a condescending "gotcha!" tone to it. He asks questions that don't need to be asked and is far too emotional. 90% of his stance boils down to "WELL, in PoE1 I can, and in PoE1 it's like this". [Removed by Support] Like just go play PoE1, you have what you want already.

Have to disagree with OP here.

I thought Ziz handled this interview very well. He persisted with his questions until he got an answer and gave examples. He was professional and assertive.

Jonathan was in a bad mood and defensive but Mark was very open. A lot of other interviewers would have crumbled under Jonathan's defensiveness.

He get answer many times but didn't understand it well. It was explained extensively at first attemp. Like with monster speed. But he pushing his pov and pointing it like he's everything with "We want to have fun". Which is the lowest of the lowest answers he can provide.

They should ban him from further cooperation.

Well, players got slowed down everywhere. Slower, methodical play. It's a very widely accepted issue that, especially early on in the character's development, monsters are far too fast.

In general I think they need to shrink monster count, low their speed, and make it so the player can use mechanics like parry against the 1-3 monsters they fight at a time. Maybe a Rare pack ends up being 5, which makes it more difficult. But you can't really have combos and thought out combat when you are getting rushed down and gang-banged literally everywhere but the boss arena.

I guess I should take a look at the interview. Kinda lost hope in this format as they gloss over important topics or flat out lie/refuse to answer things.

Agree, Ziz is doing great. Also, for those lol about the socket question, here I sit with zero sockets as I'm checking every vendor and picking up every item including whites looking for sockets to salvage.

I thought that was reasonable. Jonathan said himself in this interview he is designing a game for him to have fun and it has to be fun for him to design it. Ziz was coming from an angle of the player.

I opened Zizaran stream out of curiosity for a few seconds, the chat is just an endless stream of hating on the devs with 1000% hyperbole.
Tbh I couldn´t do live interviews with such an absurd amount of negativity thrown in my face.

I also think Zizarans points are ill-thought out, at one point he suggested that NPCs should hint at players what runes to slot in weapons for best effect, just weird points the dude tries to make. Or saying that some people from his chat said they got 10 exalts in act 1 and zero in act 2 and 3, what do you even say to that nonsense, even if it happened once it´s strictly RNG

What??? I take it you don't speak English as your main language? As half of what you said hardly makes sense. If you can't speak English fluently perhaps making a post about an interview spoken in English is not what you should be irate about.

What I find humorous is when the smaller portion of the community thinks they are the majority, they talk trash, whine and cry about streamers while never accomplish any feats of skill themselves. They are never on the ladder, they never rank in the gauntlet. Yet they say "XXXXX Streamer" has no skills, well when was the last time any of you were ranked on the HC ladder? Ya... That's what I thought.
