Hexblast must be deleted

What do you mean? it will be find just manually cast 3 curses and wait for 1.5s for them to activate then wait half of their duration then click hexblast. exactly as intended. just need to wait 8-10s before doing damage

Coping, but if something in the patch notes sound too awful to be true for a particular skill, like really no plausible justification, it's because they haven't revealed the new base numbers for that skill gem, and the new supports/uniques.

I'm sure they are always hoping for build diversity and their worst nightmare is to see a poe2.ninja breakdown of 57% one ascendancy 80% one skill. This will kill their game, and their financials with it. People will ACTUALLY leave in droves instead of just threatening to leave on the forums.

I think this must be the case for spells, poe2.ninja says spark 33%, hexblast 0.5%. No way, hexblast is not buffed in some way, you just have to wait for the rest of the picture.

Same thing with flameblast, the notes look like super nerf, at 0.1% playrate, it's complete absurdity to nerf it. My guess is the base numbers got a HUGE buff and now it's the HoTG for spells.
Its not about numbers, it could have the highest damage ever seen in a game and still feel like shit.
Its about the mechanical blockade they put in place, aura curse cannot be detonated.

Yeah assuming you are not murdered by monsters by the time you can finally pop Hexblast off lol, like seriously who at GGG thinks up this garbage? How have they've gotten this out of touch over the years with their playerbase? I just don't understand it at all.... They very clearly lied to all of us about 1 button builds being a thing and them being ok with them, but hey they fooled us and made a fortune off us already, so they can make this crappy game vision they've cooked up.

I think we have severely undervalued the role that chris wilson had in the game design.

Yep sadly, I did see the guy behind the whole Ruthless crap resigned, so that is at least something... But looks like the damage has already been done.
If you watch any GGG interview with those two and replace anytime they are the words "cool" or "interesting" for skills with the word "tedious" youll understand their mindset.

are you sure about that? some decisions like the targeting system can not possibly come from an experienced gamers mind. no half-way experienced gamer with only 1 braincell would think "namelocking" is a great invention when you're using a mouse for targeting.

and i'm serious here, no offense intended. i just can not fathom even the slightest possibility anyone would even consider thinking about such a horrendous idea for more than a few seconds before tossing it in the garbage bin where it belongs to. unless ofc, they're absolutely clueless and just want to make the game suit them, and think everyone will be happy because they know better anyway.

or would you like your computer to start playing music when you wanna turn it off because it thinks it knows better than you what you wanna do?... (as in, respect the cursor ffs, stop this smart algorithm bs "let me help you out")

edit to make it very clear for GGG, if they even read it that is:
a skill like Killing Palm does not only serve as a finisher, it is a dash ability ffs. yet you're not ment to use it for positioning or anything, because as soon as there is one enemy on your screen that is cullable, you run the risk so you might wanna dash to an entirely different target, have it even highlighted with red outlines, yet the game forces you to the cullable target anyway. have you ever thought about the possibility so some folks may wanna use a DASH for precisely that? for repositioning/get out of harms way without loosing much dps? shouldn't this be common sense i wonder.

i promise you, most ppl that play a game like this for more than just 50 hours not only do not need such bs, we do not want that.
it is highly limiting (and thus frustrating) to not use skills in multiple ways because "noob-helper" mechanics deny that and we can not disable it either.

hey if you want some noob-helper mechanics for yourself, that's fine. no issue with that, BUT DO NOT FORCE THIS CRAP ON US. pls allow us to disable this bs
pls
-add "Advanced Targeting System" to the options so we can disable accessibility-stuff
-fix skills w/o movement to NOT MOVE YOU when using Attack Without Moving i.e. Ice Strike
-rework: enemies instant-spells = math-game || very unfitting for meaningful combat cuz can't avoid with skill
