**The Only Hope of Casual Players Is...**

Literally a lie that you need build that cost hundreds of divines to clear maps and do max difficulty bosses.

Me for example, i have Cold CoC Chronomancer that kill Diff 4 bosses in single time freeze at like 6-7Div budget.

Before that i played Melee Chronomancer with multiple HotG you can cast at once, it fun and unusual but not so strong and require higher investment. Then i moved to that Cold CoC, which is just superior build.

I also have Magma Barrier Titan that at under 10 Div budget farm Max Diff Simulacrum. While it also delete Diff 4 bosses with Rolling Slam totems.

Both builds also are fairly offmeta, so take about build diversity is also a lie, if you look outside of meta bubble, or choose not to play best possible build which is cringe and boring.

Anyone can run maps and farm currency, anyone can do low investment craft like Expedition.

Noone care how long can you play or not, that's your problem, not game's problem you know?

3 Months is more than enough to do everything and try everything, even for casual player.

What you said makes sense. GGG should think the same as you do. No one cares how long you play. Just pay and get out of here.

Most of what you said isn't new and is basically the same as in PoE 1.

Not really. PoE1 has crafting and you can actually play SSF and enjoy the game.
I think you're just not very good at farming or reading guides.

I'm a fairly casual player that never even played POE 1 and had no clue how to play when I started. Now I'm sitting on a pile of divs. My lightning/cold deadeye is decked out and I spent ~10-15 div over time, getting a good deal here or there. I can 1 shot everything in T15s and bosses are a joke.

If you want to walk up and buy your entire kit in < 1 hour sure it will cost a lot because it depends who is online and most of the longer running trades are horribly overpriced. Play SSF if you don't want to engage in trade or you can play normal league and just trade for a few key items instead of everything. There are plenty of budget builds and the good guides explain how to progress your gear.

Oh btw you can farm 1-3 div an hour just spamming chaos trials.

i'm a fresh poe2 player and never played poe1 before. anyways i played this game actively for at least 600 hours and i never managed to get into endgame crafting. never found a single purple omen, never found a single audience with the king. my character is able to clear every content of the game but it feels like there's not even a chance to approach the endgame crafting. to acquire a single whittling omen i should pay a price that is close to the first 400 hours of gaming (this is totally unacceptable).
for a normal person (if sinking 10 hours everyday into a videogame makes a normal person.. lol!!) this is just frustrating and not fair at all. an healthy economy is based on purchasing power, so going to work for a salary that cannot guarantee the minimum well being is just a waste of time and being jobless would feel a lot better.

exactly this!
Think the most frustrating thing is when you post a legit concern and a very factual one and you get players coming in here to defend stuff and post their 50d build that's basically good on any class because of those ridiculously over powered HoWa gloves (yes I have some on my stat stacking gemling, shocker used them on warrior, blood mage and invoker) - every concern in here is right. I work from home so I'm on here a LOT and its bullshit trying to keep up with things, I juice my maps hard, I juice my towers, I add ire to the maps, I corrupt them to 16, I run +2 and bosses higher and still the rate of div drops, lol insane. Not to mention being 90+ killing monsters so much below you that you get no EXP.

Build wise - yep its EA but if you look at the tree, look at the "locked skills to weapons" even when they add the new weapons the path of the builds will be identical other than maybe a few points in the new weapons passive node.

Game is super underwhelming now and foreseably I dont think they'll give anyone what they want from better rewards, better for casuals, better exp and less grind once you hit 90, the new skills we want and the ability to cross skills with different weapons to make builds more custom, I think at this point it's very bleak that we're literally following build templates created by the devs yet people are on YT congratulating people for "creating" a build - thank the dev who gave the template. Heres your skill, heres the nodes you must take to optimize it now go young padawan be my sheep!

I hope I'm wrong lol

Too bad you're right LOL

However, with inflation, these high-value equipment will become more expensive, and low-value equipment will become less valuable.

Please open the trading page and check the price of the equipment you mentioned that can clear all high-difficulty bosses with 6-7D currency.

Now a 30% resistance helmet with a low rarity will cost at least 8D currency.

The helmet I bought for 3D currency three days ago now costs 40D currency.

Regarding the trade system. It doesn't work. Not in 2025. It's an RMT hotbed and completely ruins the game. End game should not be buying gear. Not ever.
PoE 1 is the best. PoE 2 is something.
So if I'm reading correctly...

OP is basically saying he's not good enough to complete all the games content without a completely decked out stat stacker? I'm a game that... doesn't really require skill? Epic self burn.
