Get rid of XP loss on death.

I agree 100%. Never ever give something to the player to take it away. If you want to slow progress, give XP at a slower pace, or only award XP at the end of a successful map completion, but never take away hors of hard work over hours of mapping to a potentially cheap death.
Or as a middle ground we can Just decrease XP penalty to 5% - not as painfull if you die to random sh** and still serves its purpose of disencouraging from doing too high level content too fast (if you die all the time at certain tier you will be losing more and more progress but more gradually)
Wasted a whole day and i got absolutely no where.

i disagree 100% and i'm tyred of these dumb ass thread, imo ggg need to adress it and state that they want to change it or not and be done about this freaking subject FFS, and if they don't want it remove then start moderate the freaking forum. So much BS is being told like imagine feeling you playing hardcore on softcore with very basic and small death penality cause i've read this shit :D.
How freaking weak are you so you can't handle a minor exp penality when it came this late in the game, so late it does not even matter for yor build if you lvl up anyway ? jeez hard freaking works grinding a game oooh come on i mean i better stop :x

lol. This is the type of person who complains about this. They demand it be changed but they didn't put the time and effort to research or learn the game to realize that sort of thing is already in the game.

The people who post these threads are the reason why triple a games have a bunch of yellow paint plastered everywhere.

PoE devs and fanboys are confusing "difficulty" with "annoying".

Since the game is extremmely easy, the only way they can prolongue the end game is with unnecessary obsololete mechanics to push players back.

Remove it, the complaints will stop but suddenly the game is just plain boring with nothing to do. Anyone would just finish the game in a minute, whatever boss there is.

Removing Char Progress on Death is just a bad mechanic covering a bad end game.

That's why the Campaign is extremely easy while the End Game maps are annoying.

Bro what. If it was so easy you wouldn't die. If it was easy you wouldn't have to deal with xp penalty.

You. Are. Delusional.

And this is a Type of a toxic fanboy who instantly throw judgements on new players and is not able to understand a written text correctly. This type of elitist were preventing poe1 to Expand more and reach wider audience.

First of all - I was not complaining about the mechanic and did not make any demands - Just proposed a solution which seemed logical to me in response to this post. I did my time to do a research about a lot of staff but didnt come across this particular Omen (maybe its the game not introducing concepts well enough?).
I enjoyed Elden Ring a lot and discovery part was amazing - as a matter of fact I hate triple a games experience and I dont play them. But what all this has to do with the feedback about deaths being too punishing ? How this translates to triple a holding hand approach? No logic here.
I agree, the loss of experience is insanely annoying!
This is the reason that after one of the leagues PoE 1 game ceased to exist for me. I am willing to tolerate the lack of drops in the game, but the loss of experience is not! I was looking forward to PoE 2 and what did I see? GGG added this crap here too.....It's just a shame!
Imagine that you took your dream car from the showroom, it drives fast it is comfortable, but in the back seat is a pile of shit....... That's how I see PoE 2 and it's sad, the game already has a penalty in the form of card loss and drops.
