" I've seen way too many things over the years that led me to believe that ggg doesn't play their own games and doesn't care about the feedback unless it's coming from a big content creator even the fact that there's not a single GGG response in 99.99% of the feedback threads proves this alone this interview didn't do anything to change my views "buff grenades" - Buff Grenades (Buff-Grenades) Last edited by auspexa#1404 on Jan 15, 2025, 1:26:08 AM

" He won't. This guy spent an entire month trolling all the posts discussing mace melee in the feedback forum, but never posted his own character, because he spends more time trolling than actually playing the game. He even commented on a post about Molten Blast, saying he never played Molten Blast, but he thought the skill was probably fine. I can't imagine how sad a person has to be to say something like that. |

I'm happy that you guys are disgusted by the interview. Why? Because it may make you leave.
You guys are only a small portion of the actual playerbase and only the very toxic ones seem to post here on the forum. Not saying PoE2 is perfect in every way and yeah, ofc there is some deserved critic and people should voice their feedback. But the way you people are is soooo damn toxic. As a developer I wouldn't want to have these kind of players around and wish for them to vanish from the playerbase. I doubt GGG could have done anything at all to please the kind of people that are gathering here. So please just go and take your toxicity to somewhere else. Play League of Legends or Counter Strike, there you will be heartly welcomed by players with the same toxic mindset. Last edited by AceNightfire#0980 on Jan 15, 2025, 1:31:51 AM

" Wierd we can have the total revesed opinion on the same thing then! Well I have all the confidence in that they will work on stuff that have problems. Hell people whining before the first balance-pass havent even been done in an early access game is just wierd. if warrior released in this state, yea I would for sure not be happy about it. But we are still in first patch, there have only been something like 15 total workdays since release due to holidays. Im not expecting big changes yet on any classes or mechanics. Change class if it aint working right now, playing off-meta builds when half of the classes aint working correctly isnt hipp, its stupid. |

" if the players who are likely to leave are the minority, why did the game lose more than half of its players in less than a month? "buff grenades" - Buff Grenades (Buff-Grenades) Last edited by auspexa#1404 on Jan 15, 2025, 1:37:01 AM

True poe2 superfans finished game day 3 and just wait for new and exciting micro corridor map release which is this week.

" It’s quite simple: many of those players have already played 100+ to 200+ hours, created multiple characters, and are now most likely waiting for future updates. You guys have been around for quite some time yourselves. You have seven supporter badges, so I assume you’ve played PoE1 quite extensively. And what happens when a new league starts? There’s always a surge in player numbers because everyone wants to try out the new content. They’ll roll one or two characters, play until they’ve had their fill, and then stop until the next league begins. The same principle applies to PoE2. Currently, three acts are missing, more than half of the weapons and their associated skills are yet to be added, and there will be additional characters, ascendancies, as well as tons of balance changes and tweaks. Once you’ve seen all the available content – which doesn’t take too long given that much is still missing – you naturally start asking: Why keep playing the same thing repeatedly when significant new content will be released in the coming weeks or months? This means: - Many players will return when the major updates arrive. - Some won’t come back because PoE2 isn’t the right game for them. - Others are waiting for the 1.0 release, having already enjoyed what PoE2 has to offer for now. Let’s not forget that PoE1 and PoE2 aren’t MMORPGs designed to keep you constantly engaged. The entire concept revolves around bringing players back every few months with new leagues and fresh content. Without these regular updates, people wouldn’t keep coming back so consistently. |

I see the gas station wind shield wipers are at it again complaining and telling software developers how they should do their job. I don't see any dev coming onto the wiper forums and telling you guys how to wipe. Maybe offer them the same courtesy. Never change lads, you guys are the real entertainment.

you're saying that most of the people who quit playing are the ones who have nothing left to do, but I believe that's far from the truth. I'd say a large portion of people who quit didn't even finish the acts
and it's not right to compare it to poe 1, because poe 1 is a free game and free games always have this steep decline in player count. most people who played poe 2 actually paid for it " I'm a high voltage engineer who worked as a game dev and a regional community director on two mmorpg titles. am I entitled to criticize ggg now?
